Title: What cell phone and provider do you have?
Post by: bungholiotgn on May 01, 2009, 08:33:00 am: I just got a new plan away from my ex girlfriends family plan. I now am back with Verizon and have the Voyager Touch screen. It is pretty neat. So what kind of phones are you all using? :thumbsup:

Post by: cdnich on May 02, 2009, 04:06:20 am: I have a Samsung Messenger which I love except for the fact that you have to lock the keyboard everytime you finish with it because the numbers aren't covered. My carrier is Metro PCS - which I'm led to believe is distinctly a Detroit thing? - and they are absolutely terrible. I barely get coverage at all except in major suburbs and they are not willing to help you.

Post by: yapluss on May 02, 2009, 06:57:30 am: I have the iphone so I use AT&T. I was with Cingular before they became AT&T. Loved Cingular and AT&T seems to be almost as good (rarely have problems - when I do they are quick to help and do what they say they will).

I had an iPhone and loved it (until the bottom half of the screen stopped working) but it doesn't matter now because I hardly get any service where I live. I don't recommend AT&T to anyone, it sucks. As soon as my contract is up, I'm going to Verizon.

I pay about 53.00 for unlimited local and long distance, unlimited text, unlimited picture messages, and unlimied web. The only thing that really irks me about Metro is their service area is as broad as the others.

I am with ATT have been since befroe they were cingular but I gotta say that since ATT took them over I have the worst service of anyone I know. Maybe it's the phone ATT says they have problem reports other than me and my husband has some issues with his LG shine but nothing like I have..... :confused1:

Hey, Hero Member--have u tried Magic Jack yet?Don't know what type of Computer System u have-but MJ works great--just like a cell phone. (I have a netbook --totally portable)---It, along with my MJ will become my "Totally MOBILE phone!!!)

Although I may consider doing that once my money situation looks up a bit (see: after I get a job that doesn't suck)

ahh, i haven't tried magic jack! i've never known anyone who HAS tried it, therefore never had anyone praise it to me, therefore never saw much need in giving it a shot ;p
haha, i couldn't remember posting about the wedding on here ;p so i didn't know if you were talking to ME. then i looked at my previous posts. and now we're back on track ;p the wedding was good! it was really pretty (i wondered how well purple and yellow would work together as the colors, lol ;p) and the food at the reception was awesome (which is like.. the most important part, duh ;p) the only negative thing is that i was forced to interact with retarded girls from high school ;p you know how it goes, haha.

Razrs were a fad, they kind of phased out. Loved Cingular. HATE AT&T. My contract expires on July 14th, and I wouldn't mind keeping my phone, but it accidentally took a trip through the washer. It still works. I was always trying to convince everyone that Razrs were indestructible, and that was pretty much the final shard of evidence. It was in with the WHITES, so that means it got bleached. INVINCIBLE, MY PHONE IS, SIR.
But I don't trust it to last two more years, so, come July, I'm getting either an iPhone or one of those similar smartphones, like the LG Dare.
