Post by: Gerianne on January 10, 2013, 06:39:34 am
Do you have a lot of family birthdays at the beginning of the year or lumped together at some other time of the year?
I have three this month.

Me, my older sister and niece birthdays are in March...two of my sisters share July...my dad, brother and eldest sister share May. The rest of my siblings along with my mother (yeah, there's 11 of us) have months to themselves.

P.S...My lil sister Birthday was on the 9th...Happy Birthday to all the Capricorn's and Aquarian's out there.

My family, when it comes to birthdays, sound like a checkerboard.  Let's start with January.  I have a granddaughter whose birthday is January 1 and cousins whose birthdays are January 29 and January 30.  I have a niece whose birthday is February 18.  My late mother's birthday is March 7, cousins who were born on March 9, March 10, March 18 and cousins whose birthdays are March 26, March 27 and March 30.  Fortunately, there was nobody born in April.  My late uncle's birthday is May 8 and a cousin whose birthday is May 11.  My baby sister and her son share June 7 as a birthday; my husband's birthday is on June 17, a nephew whose birthday is June 22, a granddaughter on June 29 and an aunt, stepfather and a brother in law on June 30.  My brother's birthday is July 7, a cousin on July 11, my grandson's birthday is July 26 and another cousin on July 28.  My nephew's birthday is August 12.  My birthday is on September 3; I have cousins whose birthdays are September 7, September 17, a nephew whose birthday is September 19. a sister's birthday is on September 22.  My late cousin's birthday is October 2 and I have an uncle whose birthday is October 28, a cousin whose birthday is October 30 and my sister's birthday is October 31.  I have a cousin whose birthday is November 16 and a cousin on November 25.  My daughter's birthday is December 5, the same day as my late cousin.  My cousin's birthday is December 8 and my niece is on December 31.  So you have the rundown of birthdays from me. :) ;D

We have birthdays to celebrate throughout the year.  People like to be remembered on their birthday.  It's a positive way to say that the birthday person is special.  I keep every family members' day on a calendar or I would not be able to keep up with the expanding family.
