Title: Forum Posting Tip
Post by: oldbuddy on January 14, 2013, 01:31:09 pm
WOW, Do I Feel DUMB!

I was trying to help a friend on Fusioncash today and a big light bulb went on.  ::)

It seems to be getting harder and harder to find decent posts to comment on when I click "Show unread posts since last visit". Sometimes it doesn't matter if I have lots of time, but other times I just want to get a couple done.

Next time you notice someone who is making lots of interesting posts, click on their name to visit their profile. You can even scroll down and Show Their Last Posts to make sure it wasn't just a flash in the pan. Then if you like what you see, click the [Add to Buddy List].

Now next time you want to find someone to comment on, click on your Profile tab, then find Edit Buddies. Click on one of the names, scroll to the bottom to Show the last posts of this person and see if they have any recent posts you can comment on.

Now making MEANINGFUL posts will be much easier.

I don't know why I never thought of that before? ???

AFTERTHOUGHT: Maybe I could put my best referrals on my list so I can support them better.

Excellent idea. Some days I scroll through the topic boards and nothing jumps out at me.  I thought it might be due to the mood I'm in (cranky). This might just help.

i think its interesting how there isn't more conversation on the boards, especially since you can get paid to post!! Maybe its because no one really knows about it?  :cat:

 LOL!! Oldbuddy, that's exactly what I did when I first started to post in forum. I looked you up.. added you as a friend because I new i would find interesting things to post about.. But then I stopped because i didn't want you to think I was stocking you. But thank you for the tip because I have seen some interesting people post here but have not added them to make it easier to post when there nothing that interest me in the discussion boards.   :notworthy:

You have my full permission to stalk me all you like and that goes for anyone else who reads this. I don't consider it stalking at all, it's just keeping tabs on friends.

Thanks for the tip oldbuddy.  I have found some very helpful info on the forum, but sometimes I don't.  Glad you do not consider it stalking; sure you will end up with a lot of new buddies.  This is what I like about FC; someone always there willing to help you out so you can make more money.

there you go old buddy  as long as people don't abuse the opportunity. There are a few here who would follow others just to have the opportunity to be controversial with them I am sure you have seen a few familiar folks that argue about everything. Fortunately I finally learned how to ignore them which is great so if anyone feels like they are being followed only for stirring up trouble they always have the opportunity to ignore the other parties comments. Good useful information. Now to find a few others worthy of following

this is a very good idea.  i have been reading your posts on here ever since i first started with fusioncash a little over a year ago.  you always give great tips and hold way better conversation than most folks on here.  i can hardly ever find anything decent to comment on.  so many people on here talk about things that just aren't very helpful or they are a waste of time for me.

:star: OldBuddy  :star: You were the first buddy that I added because I knew you where active and had been around for awhile.  It also helped to see that you were active on ohter platforms as well.  I knew you had some good marketing experience and that there was plenty to learn and gleen from.  Your FusionCash videos sure help with exposure here on FusionCash as well as your many helpful posts here in the forum.   :notworthy: Thanks for all your many contributions

I've felt the same about not being able to find decent posts to comment on.  Thank you, oldbuddy for sharing your tip with us.  It makes perfect sense, but I probably would have never thought of it without your direction!  My favorite people to comment on are the newbies because I remember what it felt like to be new here and I want to be able to help them get over that initial hump.  Once you understand this site, why would you ever leave?
