Can you walk through your house in pitch dark without bumping into anything? I can ;D
-
yes annoys me to no end that everyone else has to turn all the lights on
-
no, dont think i could do it lol
-
Even with no lights on it is still not pitch black dark. So yes I can.
-
No my house Is a little crowded and we have 2 little steps/drop offs in our kitchen that would be hard to account for.
-
Used to be able to.. but now I have to hang onto the walls.. :crybaby2:
-
I will try tonight but I am pretty sure it is a negative.
-
no because my kids tend to leave their toys out and i would be tripping over them to get through my house

First of all I would proably run into a wall or a door and have a big old blue spot on my forehead and that would really hurt. Next of all I would also fall over a toy or something or break a leg or hip if my house was pitch dark. I like to leave a light on so that I can see what is going on in front of my face and not hurt my self just be careful if you do walk through your house pitch dark.
-
I have several little night lights around that come on when it gets dark, I think I could manage but I don't want any one else to take a tumble.
-
I never tried that, but don't think I could do that.
-
I can, but I'd sure be trying to touch a wall or an object! :D
-
It depends on how groggy I am at the time. I usually walk through the dark house heading for the restroom in the middle of the night. A few nights ago I had a bad allergy attack so I took a Benadryl at bedtime. When I got up at 2am to go to the bathroom, I did a face plant into the wall....not fun! On a normal night it's fine.
-
Can't do it. Most of the time I can feel my way around fairly well, but we have added moving obstacles. We have two all black cats and one mostly black cat. Usually they're pretty good about staying out from under our feet, but one of my little girls who is really attached to me hasn't yet figured out that I can't see as well as she can in the dark, especially right after turning out the lights. Every now and then she tries to lead the way to bed. She squeaks when I accidentally kick her.
-
Yes I can.
-
Yup yup!!
Well... as long as hubbys not home.
Lol... ::)
He is always kicking his shoes off in the dumbest spots!!
I trip on those w the lights on!!!
Haha..
Happy earnings!

I could if my godchild doesn't put anything in the middle of the floor before she goes to bed
-
Not a chance. I get bored and rearange my furniture too often

This made me laugh when I seen it. My husband and I did this one day, just to see if we knew where everything was. We started from downstairs went upstairs and got into bed. I know I bumped into my bed post, however, I do that anyway. So overall we did great! I saw someone say that their husband kicks his shoes off in the weirdest places. My husband doesn't have them in weird places, but he makes sure he kicks them off when he walks in the house and leave them there. Sometimes he is nice to kick them under the table.
-
No, I'm not very good at doing this. I have tripped over stuff, run into doors, etc. in the past. So I know to turn on a light!
-
Hmm I've never actually thought about that. My house is pretty easy to navigate so, I think I can!
-
No I always have to kick to feel where the stairs are and will usually use the railing to make the turn at the landing.
-
Up to some extent not all
-
i can! ;D
-
Mostly. Depends on the room and what I'm trying to do. If I'm just walking through the house, sure. If I have to actually go get something, that might take some extra time. My room, for example, I have no problem walking around in the dark. However, ask me to get a shirt and that could lead to an issue cause sometimes my closet is barricaded so navigating that area is sorta dangerous.

Absolutely not
-
I can if everyone goes to bed before me and doesnt move a thing.
-
Nope. Not happening. I have a 16 month old daughter and she turns my house into a minefield with her toys! Its boobie trap after boobie trap all over the house!
-
Uh, if I want to take a ride to the floor on a truck left out by a 4 year old!
-
So can I if I let my eyes get used to it!
-
Yes! I can! :D I live in a very small house so it's not to difficult to navigate in the pitch dark! I recently rearranged my furniture so it's been a challege to get from point A to B! Hahahah! :P ;D
-
No, I do not think I could do it.
-
I am sure most people can. After all they know their own house like the back of their hands.
-
yes i can..i lkow where everything is at,,but i may step on a cat toy :dog:
-
Yes. Gets a little scary at times :binkybaby:
-
I can unless I had too many drinks then i run into the wall
-
No, I can not because I have two cats that will follow me and I will bump into them.
-
I know I can - and can even find my empty glass on the counter when I need a glass of water in the middle of the night. ;D
When I was little, I was convinced I was going to go blind, so I remember deliberately teaching myself how to get around in the dark...just so I'd be more prepared.
-
There is always light from street lights outside. But I'm not sure I could do it. I would sure use my arms and hands to lead the way :P
-
I can until someone puts something in the way.
-
I can...with no problem. My husband has to turn a light wherever he goes...even down the hallway
-
I might be able to if my dogs stay out of my way, but that probably wouldn't happen.
-
No way. I would run into everything.
-
only in my upstairs living room since there is really nothing in there. I have made the mistake of not turning on th light and have hit my head before.
-
yes i can dont like the lights but wifey has to have all lights on
-
I can't do that. I have too much crap.
-

Yes lol ! I think most people can. If they keep a tidy home that is LOL!
-
We have night lights all over the house and have since living up the hill from a train yard and becoming used to having plenty of light at night.
-
You can if you stop long enough and allow your pupils to adapt to the dark instead of light and it can be done. Yes, I can and have done it.
-
Yep. I just use my sixth sense of "knowing" where things are. ;)
-
i can i feel so special like i have night vision or something
-
i have night lights but i probably could if i wanted to
-
Yes, I can! But I do not want to take any changes because there might be a cable or wire on the carpet, so I turn the light on. Better safe...than sorry!
-
sure just crawl around on your hands an knees and you'l be fine :P
-
yes i can..dont need lights
-
I can do one even worse than that. I checked into a hotel late at night walked into the room in the pitch black and walked right it flipped the switch on without being able to see and kept on going. Maybe I have been in too many hotels...
-
No, I'd have stubbed toes and bruised knees.
-
I live alone so I better know where everything is. Yes, I can.
-
I think I can, but now why would I want to? ;D
-
Are some of you part cat? LOL...I can't see a darn thing in the dark...Me and my sister almost had a terrible accident because the light blew out over the landing of our stairs and we didn't replace it yet. So that night I was walking up the stairs and she was coming down, in pitch darkness. We weren't aware of each other until she coughed right before there was a collision. She could have knocked me down the stairs! It was very frightening. Til this day I am diligent at replacing light bulbs.
-
yes i can.it takes total darkness for anyone not bump in to something.
-
No I can't, I'm pretty sure I will bump into a wall or something else.
-
Yes, I can my house it's not to big and its a simple floor plan so its easy and like someone said even with the lights out it's not all that pitch black. The only time I trip is when my wonderful husband or my wonderful daughter leave there shoes around and there i go tripping on them, but the light don't have to be off for me to trip on their shoes. LOL :-[
-
Hmmm, I haven't tried. Let me see, I'll give it a shot. Be back in a couple minutes...
Yep, I made it! Only stubbed my toes twice. I have to admit that I cheated though. I waved my hands in front of me to make sure I didn't run into anything. It was kinda fun... think I'll go do it again!
-
Yeah I can ;D
-
Are you kidding? I'm lucky if I can walk through my house during the day without bumping into something. :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:
-
I walk around my house alot in the dark...sometimes or most times I'll feel around for corners or walls...they hurt when you run into them... :) Have a nice day!
-
yea, probably, but cool question
-
I dont know but Im sure gonna give it a try tonite!!!! LOL
-
I wouldn't even try, I'd bump into everything everywhere.
-
Yes I Can . I Was Thinking Of Going On That T.V. Show ;D
-
Yes I can :)
-
No I don't think I could do that without a candle or something, I would be bumping into everything...lol
