I would love to see him win, and I wish he could, but the fact is that the WWE is going to give the belt to the rock, and CM Punks reign is coming to an end.
-
I like watching the WWE and UFC - don't know many of their names but like to watch them fight. ;D
-
I'd love to see him win too. That would be great.

The fact that WWE gave the belt to the Rock is a travesty. The guy wrestles, what, 3 matches a year, hasn't been around for nearly a year, all of a sudden comes back, gets a title match and wins? Pretty much every full time wrestler in the WWE should be unhappy with that. I understand Punk dropping the belt, it was getting to be time for that, but have him drop it to someone who's actually relevant in the world of wrestling in this day and age, not someone who's off in Hollywood filming movies full time.

The Rock earned that belt. Kept battling the whole way. A true champion.
-
I'm not a fan of Punk, so I'm glad he lost it. However, not a fan of the Rock either, so it's like picking the lesser of two evils for me.
-
I'm always so surprised that people still watch wrestling nowadays. I miss old school wrestling!

couldn't agree with you more my friend. Except for the part about CM Punk dropping the title. He was on a historic run, and it should have lasted until wrestlemania.

It looks like WWE gave him the belt so he could lose it to John Cena. It was Cena who won the royal rumble match.
-
The fact that CM Punk is billed as a headliner says more about the state of wrestling than anything. He wouldn't be getting title shots if he was in the WWE back when the Rock was in his prime.
-
Do you guys think the fix was in?

yes you are correct everyone could see that a mile away

I Dont Think The Rock Deserves A Belt. He Is A Part Time Wrestler. Give It To Cody Rhodes Or Something. At Least He Puts His Time In. :bs:

I started watching the WWE in 1988 at age 17, when it was the WWF, way before Undertaker and Kane made the scene and Stone Cold Steve Austin, and the Heartbreak Kid (Shawn Michaels).
I know from history that the Undertaker debuted in 1990. it was fun to watch when Mick Foley was wrestling, and then later, teamed up with Dwayne Johnson as the Rock and Sock Connection.
in 2004, when I became a born-again Christian at age 33, I stopped watching the WWE. when I found out
through reading on Kofi Kingston, who was born in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa, is always billed as from Jamaica, I thought that Vince Mc Mahon went way too far than he normally does. but then
again Kingston now resides in Tampa, Florida.

I read somewhere Vince McMahon did that because he thought people would be more accepting of him if they through he came from the same place as Bob Marly.

Looks like The Rock beats CM Punk AGAIN!! Proving the first time wasn't fluke.
-
I think the promoters do what they can to make it interesting, and people to keep paying to see what happens next to who. I do think they are good stunt people.
-
cm punk reign should be over go John Cena
-
I used to love wrestling. Kind of grew out of it when I got older.

It's a shame his long reign had to end with losing to a guy who only shows up once in a while. The Rock could have faced Cena at wrestlemania without the belt, such a shame really.
