Title: Newborn Weight
Post by: candyterrius on January 28, 2013, 06:23:54 pm: How many pounds were you (or your children) when you were born? I weighed 5 lbs 15 oz. I wasn’t born premature. Some people may think it’s under weight, however my mother was a tiny woman who did not drink nor smoke.

Post by: remediagirl on January 28, 2013, 07:53:56 pm: I was about 7lbs. Our first born was 5lb 11 oz and mour 2nd born was 6lbs 11 oz. Our first born was 5 weeks premature and 2nd born was full term.

My sister was even bigger though, 8lb 15oz, so I wasn't actually the easy one to deal with hahahaha!

Post by: squirrelgirl44 on January 30, 2013, 07:32:54 am: My daughter was born a week late, 6 lb 4 oz. When she left the hospital, she was 5 lb 15 oz. She had a lot of trouble gaining weight. She is just now, finally, at age 7, about "average" size for her age.

Post by: dcrotteau on January 30, 2013, 09:29:51 am: I was a month premature and weighed in at 5lbs. and then lost weight, they didn't think I would survive because my lungs weren't working well and I aspirated some sugar water they gave me. I grew up healthy though. My kids were 7lbs. 8oz. and 7lbs. 11oz. The second was 2 weeks late. :peace:

I weighed 6-1/2 lbs. My son weighed 7lbs. 8oz., and my daughter weighed in at 5lbs. 14-1/2 oz.
