Either way if you can't figure it out before your child is born, once you see it's beautiful face you will know in your heart what the best fit for your baby will be. Sometimes I have heard that people made the decision on their child's name knowing the sex, but once delivered they changed the name as it didn't feel right. My brother and his wife are on their 2nd boy right now. They have a few names in mind but won't share it with the family. They have 1 in specific at the top of their list but won't decide 100% till after he shows his face. Good luck whatever you decide!

My Fathers name was Alexander they called him Alex for short also and his Fathers name Alexander so made my Father a Junior. My nephew is 16 and his name is Alexander after my Father. We call him Xander for short.
To answer the A name question :
Hmm, I suggest Armange. Sounds like Armond but with the ange is has has touch of difference. Can be boy or girl name. I actually guessed this name till I decided to google it and this is what search came up with. Imagine that.
It is a last name of a writer. Xavier Armange (born 17 June 1947 in Nantes) is a French writer and illustrator of children's books. After studying literature, he worked in the communications industry and created an advertising agency, while at the same time embarking on a career of writing and illustrating children's books. He has written more than twenty books and albums and also writes in the children's press. In 1995 he established a publishing house in Les Sables-d'Olonne which publishes a dozen books per year.

Thank you all so much for your suggestions!!!! I really like the name Addalee but not the spelling. Got to think of a way to change that around if its a girl. I have a 8 month old son named Ashton and just found out that I'm pregnant so don't know what the sex is. I named him the day he was born when I saw him. I could decide between Mason and Ashton. (lol) I also like the name Armange. That has a nice ring to it. I like Adien too. I will most definitely keep watch on this board for more ideas. Thanks again!!!!! :binkybaby: :binkybaby: :binkybaby: :binkybaby:

I have a few suggestions for a boy I like Alan, Alexander and Andrew I like Alan the best because Alan is usually the sexy, smart guy who drives the sports-car and is nice to the ladies. Alexander is the hot weight lifter who's great at business and drives the women wild. Andrew is the steady guy who will give you lots of babies so how about AAA what a combination? But seriously my favorite male name is Alex. I like Alisha or Alanna for a girl. :)

My husband and I had a girl's first name picked out early on (Cynthia - we called her Cyndi) and tried and tried to think of a middle name that would go with it. We finally came up with Angelique - French for Little Angel.
-
Thank you for this question. It actually brought back great memories. My grandmother's name was actually Alvina and she asked us why no one ever named any of the kids or grandkids after her. Well, I considered naming my first son Alvin, but everyone hit me with the chipmunk jokes and that Alvin is the bad one - so my son is an Andrew.
And, although it has nothing to do with that story, my daughter is an Amanda.

I know this sounds a little old fashioned but the name Abby sounds sooo pretty and it means Joy of the Father.
Here are a few others Ariel, Aimee means beloved friend, and for the really daring Akiko means sparkle and bright and Akemi, which means bright and beautiful. :D
