Mine def has to be the Fuji I usually accompany one of those with a few pieces of cheese. But I will say that I love granny smith with peanut butter on them, mmm. Also I greatly enjoy mckintosh apples too. They are good to cook with, eat as is and make apple sauce out of too. But the best thing about the mckintosh is going to get them yourself in the trees. Love apple picking season with the family. I never miss a year and always come home with a great story.

I was never a raw apple fan as I had to eat mashed apples when I was sick as a child, but MacIntosh changed my view on apples. MacIntosh all the way.

I like Pink Lady's over Fuji, but Fuji is near the top. My all-time favorie is the Johnamac (Johnathan/Macintosh hybrid). I haven't seen those in ages. The current Johnagolds I'm seeing (Johnathan/Golden Delicious hybrid) are not bad, but I still preferred the Johnamac.

I love the green Granny Smiths! I like just about every apple there is though, except for the big odd shaped red ones. The ones that have a large top and a little skinny bottom. I don't like the way they taste or their texture. Granny Smiths are my favorite to have peanut butter with, I don't really like having peanut butter with any other kind of apple.

It depends on whether you are eating it raw or baking... I never realized that different apples could be used for different things... I guess granny Smith is my favorite.
