Not very much, but I am just learning how to text.  But I always pull over to the side of the road to text or to talk on the phone. Tickets are to expensive and the accidents are deadly.

zero! I don't text and tell everyone I know not to text me because I will not reply to a text! I can't stand texting- so inpersonal and rude especially if your out with someone and all they do is text while they are at a restaurant!! My niece's do it all the time but, they are in that generation!!I wonder what some people would do without cell phones??

Depending on the day, anywhere from not at all, to a whole lot!
I like that texting can let you have a conversation over a period of time...like while I'm at work I can text on breaks just to chit chat...

I, too, probably average around 3-5 texts per day.  I simply love this new technology and don't understand why some of my peers can't be more receptive.  I especially love being able to include a picture with my text.  I have a new grandbaby and it's such an easy way to share pictures with friends and the whole family.  Sometimes, I need the answer to a question where a simple text is so much more efficient and time saving than a phone call.  It's the easiest way to get hold of my grown kids.  They will almost always answer a text, but not so much a phone call.

I don't text alot; some days 2 to 5 but other days not at all.  I was resistant at first and thought it was dumb but now I really appreciate it.  Cell service at my house is weak and calls often drop but texting works. Additionally, there are certain people I want to communicate with but I know if I have a phone call with them I'll be on the phone a long time because they are big talkers. Texting is short and to the point.

I text quite a bit in one day, my phone broke, I had to wait a couple of week to get another one, it sucked not to be able to text....

I rarely text, as I prefer to talk on the phone. I guess I  am old fashioned like that.

Zero. I don’t use the text feature at all on my mobile phone even though I receive junk text messages from T-Mobile.

I really don't text that much. I only have an unlimited outgoing plan so that limits me. But I prefer it this way anyways. I text my fiance a few times but that's it. This way we have the opportunity to miss each other more. I call mostly every one else I know. Sometimes I will text friends as I know they may be busy so I just pass along a "hi". I never use my phone while I am driving unless I am parked in a parking lot. I close it at hospitals, church, movie theater and I don't work at the moment but as I was a waitress I never used it while I worked either. I also keep in on silent when I go out the restaurant as a polite thing for other diners and the company that I am with. I think some people text too much. There are so many other things to do and I believe it takes away from the normal every day we used to live years ago.

It ranges, but on a typical day it would probably be between 10 and 20.

My telephone company just started giving me 250 texts and 250 free minutes (I have a government phone).  Generally, I run out of minutes except for texts.  The only texts I receive are from certain companies and my daughter.  She loves to text. :) ;D

I would rather use my phone to talk to someone. Or go see them in person. I refuse to be glued to my phone.

I don't text; in fact I have texting blocked on my phone, since I was getting a lot of spam, and without a texting plan I had to pay for each one. I think it is very annoying when people sit texting all day. It is a lot quicker just to call the person and tell them what you have to say, rather than all that back and forth nonsense.

I use to text all the time but as I have grown up threw out the years my texting has deffenitley slowed down. I am always busy now so If I do text it's short and quick to the point. I do believe that the more you text the more time you have on your hands to text.

I am not sure how much I text but I do know that my minutes on my phone is more than what I text.  I usually only text when I can't get on the phone.  I text when I am at the doctors or if I am busy I will text them and let them know I will call later.  I don't agree with texting while driving or even talking on the phone unless I pull over or let my passenger do it for me.

Texting is a better way of communicating for me because I can think about what I am going to say and not just blurt out the first crazy thing that comes to my mind.

I do between one and ten texts per day on average.  I have unlimited minutes and texts on my phone but my mom doesn't so she we text back and forth when she runs out of minutes but in general I don't usually text many days above 10 a day unless I'm doing business on the phone.

Not much. i am not on a plan so it can get costly. About the only one i do is one of my girlfriends and then mostly when she text me, it is because she had called and i wasn't near my phone and i will call her back as i have a lot of minutes, i mean a lot. I get really annoyed when a young person sitting at the table and spend all their time texting. I feel like it is very rude.

I rarely text.  Only when I need to send a quick message for meeting up or connecting where I don't need or expect a response is when I use it.  I use texting to receive text alerts which I find convenient sometimes.  Otherwise if I need a conversation, I just call the person.  Much more efficient.

I text a decent amount, although not as much as I used to. I no longer have a boyfriend and my best friend usually emails me instead because I get really crappy phone service and can't always receive/send messages.

I sorta miss the old days it seems like we are just all really disconnected now.

Some days ten, some days none.  It pretty much depends on if someone sends me a text.  I am rarely the one to start it, but I will respond to them.  They definitely have their place, but I just feel they are completely over used.

I only  text my husband. Otherwise I really do not care for texting, cell phones or phones in general. I'd rather speak with family and friends in person. I have friends who are constantly texting and talking on the phone. Very annoying.

Texting has become part of my everyday life so i text almost all hours of the day. I do not text driving or any way i can get hurt or worse someone else hurt. I would never do that. Texting Is Basically why i have my phone it connects me with everyone alot faster. Especially my brother he just went into the navy and sometimes he just wants to know someone is thinking about him and missing him. Which we all do.

I've never counted how many texts I do in a day.

I do know that texting has been a fun way to touch base with the kids.....just a quick text saying whatever...or a quick text with a picture included with it.

We text between co-workers too to find out if someone can come in early or to let the boss know that something has happened at the site (group home)...texting is easier than calling; plus then there is a record that the situation got reported.
