My Valentine's Day was simply wonderful. The best part was the chocolate candy with a variation of nuts and the addition of beer and/or wine. I particularly like the fact that you can get/give gifts to family members, friends, co-workers, etc..., too. My family was thrilled to get a card, gift and candy. I wanted to let my daughter know that even though Valentine' Day is symbollically associated with this day being celebrated with a significant other or spouse, it can be enjoyed as much with family and friends. We all had a good day and my significant other was present, too !

Had a special dinner date in. Barbequed chicken breast hot off the grill, baked potato smothered in sauteed mushrooms and onions and steamed peas. Delish!! After dinner watched HERE COMES THE BOOM! Hysterical!

I enjoyed my V-day very much. I spent the day cooking and baking for my fiance, mom and grandma. I made chicken parmesan, linguine alfredo, asperagus and bread for supper with red wine. Red velvet and vanilla cupcakes with butter cream icing dyed red for the vanilla cupcakes and left white for the red ones. It was all around delicious but filling. My fiance had gotten myself a beautiful blue rose with a wonderfully written note. She also got my mom and grandma each a red rose with card which I though was super sweet. I spent the day with my 3 favorite people so I had the best V-day in my eyes!

My v-day was boring. Nothing special at all. My hubby is not at romantic and it really sucks. Not that the gifts matter and I know he loves me everyday but DANG!!!! :angry7:

I celebrated Valentine's Day a little earlier with my companion as I had to be away for Valentines, which sadden the both of us. I tried to smother her the days prior, but I still feel guilty leaving prematurely.

it was nice and easy going...

Not so good, being single for the fifth straight year lol. During the first couple years it's like whatever, but eventually it starts to get to you.

I was at work all day. He sent me a dozen roses. I got home from work, grabbed some dinner and we went to bed. It was basically just another day, but with flowers. Lol

I didn't end up doing anything special, but I don't usually make a big deal out of Valentine's Day anyways.

My valentines was great! Went out to eat with my bf and he bought me some gifts. :) :)

Pretty good. I stayed home, watched a movie and did not spend a dime.

TERRIBLE! I'm not even saying that because i'm single. I spent the day with my family and daughter and that was just fine by me. But it was just one of those really bad days that never got better. Hope everyone else had a good day though!

My Valentine's Day was just like any other day, but hopefully next Valentine's Day I'll have a boo

I worked all 7-7 on Valentine's Day but it was good. One of the residents at the group home where I work helped me bake cupcakes for Valentines.
When I got home, two of my daughters had made a special meal for my husband and me....
stuffed pork chops
stuffed mushroom caps
steamed cabbage
angel food cake and strawberries

not that great :angry7: :angry7:

My valentine's day was very well spent; spending time with my wife, and enjoying each other.
