Title: surveys
Post by: pressman on February 18, 2013, 09:04:09 pm
How many of you get frustrated whe you start a survey and then has enough response for this one or go half way through and get not qualified.  I am in my 60s retired there are not enough surveys for us seniors :(

I rarely qualify for surveys so I don't try survey sites anymore.  I try the ones here because they give us a consolation penny.  Every so often though they surprise me and I qualify.  I can't predict which ones will work, I'm just glad some do.

I'm not so sure it has to do with your age as they need someone from all demographics most likely.  I am 34 and nearly every time that I have tried a survey on this site I have been rejected multiple times before I found a survey which allowed me to finish and get credit.  It really is just about persistence and if you don't let it get to you you then you will find success most likely.  I find it more rewarding to finally break through and get selected after being repeatedly turned down; might seem silly, but it works for me.  That being said there are a couple survey sites that never accept me, regardless of how many times I try.  I don't find the need to bang my head against the wall for these two sites, but for everyone else I've broken through.

I am so new at this, and have become frustrated already. I have submitted around five surveys, and all I seem to get is: "Thank you for participating. Unfortunately you do not match the desired profile required to complete the survey." Someone please tell me what's up with that........ ??? :BangHead:

I try surveys several times a day and just hope that I can get one to credit.  Not many of them do for me and I was beginning to think it was due to my demographics, but who knows, one day they may need my demographics.  Keep trying and be persistent.

My best advice to you on qualifying for surveys is to keep trying and never give up. If you don't qualify for a survey then come back later and try again. Good luck to you.

I am 66 and slowly finding out that our "age group" is not who they want to hear from. I have basically quit doing surveys because of the age. No one cares what a 66 year old thinks.

You never know what the demographic the companies want until you try them.  I did not qualify for any surveys here most of the month and then I did for two of them back to back last week.  It was enough to put me into cashout status for the month.  They can't tell you what they are looking for upfront because you know that there will be people who would lie about their age, gender, etc just to qualify.

Well I am living proof that you can get some of them and get paid.  I went for almost 2 months without getting approved for one, then the next time I get 2 or 3 in a row.  Persistent is the key.  Just don't give up.

I agree, I am not 60 yet but still there is not enough surveys for people without kids.  I have found some with kids thate are grown but do not live with you.

I'm 66 also, and was thinking the same as pressman about my age being the problem, so it was good to get the perspective of AdamH1978, who is in the same boat, only much younger.  I find that I qualify for two or three each month and it helps so much toward getting to a cash out.  Yes, it is very satisfying when I finally do complete a survey and get compensated.  I will keep trying.

Yeah, surveys are really a hit and miss thing.  Mostly miss....  I hardly ever get qualified for surveys on this site.  Don't know why, maybe my age or income???   Not sure.  But I keep trying.

I rarely get to finish a survey, but I keep on trying.  It is frustrating when you start one and then get disqualified, but that's only  way to see if you can get the credit.

Ermager...I feel the same way.  Every time I think ok this will be the one I qualify for I don't.  How is it that they even send you the e-mail in the first place when I have filled out all the profiles and then I don't qualify for the very survey they send me!!!!!!!!!!!! :BangHead: :dontknow:

:) I went through a good 15 minutes the other day before they said I didn't qualify. Oh well, getting mad and quitting doesn't pay any better.

I've already been allowed to complete one survey this month and it's only the 6th!  It was really fun to get a whole dollar for my efforts.  I, too, have been taking several minutes to go through the qualification stage, just to be told, "Thanks, but no thanks!"  I can't even predict which way it is going to go.  The questions are pertinent to the subject, and because I keep getting more questions, I'm thinking, "Yay, finally I'm qualifying for something!"  But then I get the rejection message, and I wasn't even expecting it.  However, I'm not complaining.  It's all part of the process and makes me all the more happy when one finally clicks for me!
