Sounds like fun.  I hope they take and produce lovely flowers for you for years to come.   :)

I am ready to work outside but it has rained too much recently.  The ground is saturated and it has been a little too cool this week.

That sounds nice. I would love to be able to plant some stuff at our place. But we don't really have a yard.

Good luck! I just had to de-thatch my yard completely, or the St. Augustine would be dead on arrival this spring~ LOL. Texas weather is so tempermental lately, I don't know what's gonna grow and what won't!!

In Colorado, I can't imagine planting anything for months. In my area, moles, or is it voles?, eat almost everything I plant from under the ground. It's just like those Loony Tunes cartoons I watched when I was a kid.

Hope they take too...  But isn't it a little too early to plant them?

Too early for planting here - we still have snow on the ground.  Patiently waiting until Spring as I have plans to start a garden.  At least I have time to get with my brother and his wife to start advanced planning, like what kind of fencing do I need to put in to keep the critters out.  :D

I live in Maryland and I usually plant my vegetable garden during the end of march...beginning of April....depending on the weather. It's nice because then I have fresh vegetables from June to November. Speaking of that, I should probably start my planning.

I have been doing some spring planting of my salad veggies in my refrigerator boxes. My lettuce and spinach are doing great, but my other seeds have not popped out yet. We have had some bouts of freezing weather, but I cover my boxs with plexiglass sheets. I have found some new organic fertilizer that seems to be working great. It even drives away ants, which can be a real pain to your hands when seeding. My tomatoes seeds are not in boxes, and I hope that I don't have to reseed. Good luck on your efforts.

This is why I live in a warm climate.  We are stilling getting cherry tomatoes off of a plant we put in last summer.  I keep thinking it is going to stop, but it just keeps going.  We use our flower beds for a garden, then we also have some big pots that we put some plants in.  I    love the vegetables right out of our garden.

I used to love working in the yard but my sinuses stay so bad now that I very seldom do any work outside.  My husband tells me that if I go out more I would get used to it and it wouldnt be so bad but I have tried that over the years and ended up with sinus infections and killer headaches.  I may try again this year though since I keep 3 grandkids and don't want to keep them couped up in the house all summer.  They love it outside as most kids do.

I haven't worked in the yard in a while. I kinda hope to be able to this spring though. It's so difficult for me to do yard work, but I do hope to be able to get out and do some soon. It always feels good to get yard work done.

It is still cold here and i am getting antsy to get out with a garden and flowers. Also need to clean out my front flower bed and decide what else i want to plant also am tired of a lot of grass so am thinking of some raised flower beds there oh i love going through gardening catalogs. They get to wishing and planning and hubby is always shakeing his head but i get what i want.

Way to cold to even think about working in yard here; blowing snow and windy.  But have been reading some articles on gardening in raised beds so want to try that this year.
