Wow so far a good mix of browsers. I can't say I'm suprised we haven't seen any SeaMonkey users... that thing sucks! Flock is pretty good but its mainly a glorified FireFox :)

Is the general consensus that firefox credits better?  Because I have been using IE and it only credits for about half of em.

i use IE. I keep hearing that firefox credits better - i would love it if we could find some proof or, a reason why. when i tried firefox, i had to close it out before running my cookie cleaner. don't know why but it would stop and ask me to close it???  does anyone else use the piriform ccleaner with firefox and get the same message? or, is there something i'm missing?

I use firefox.  For some reason IE does not work well with me.  It is slower than firefox.

This would be my guess here on this question. Unlike IE Firefox stores its cookies in a single file. In order to access that file I think Firefox has to be closed so that that file is not in use. I use CCleaner and it asks me to close it when cleaning cookies too. This is my guess why.

I used to only use firefox, but I am using Internet Explorer as some of my apps on my computer only work with IE and when I had firefox, it replaced everything to it as default, screwing up my computer. I like firefox though except for that. :)

I use firefox too. I have a pretty good approval rate using this browser too. It's easy to clean cookies.. you just log on to FF and then go up to tools then options and choose to clear cookies from there. You can also set it to clear all info each time when you close it... works great for me

I run Linux - Ubuntu 9.1, I've not tried to use IE under Linux, so I use Firefox. I'll report back my successes.

I use Firefox. I used to use IE, but i like the Firefox interface a lot better, and recently I've been having a lot of trouble with IE. It crashes frequently, and whenever I close it out, the whole thing freezes up.

I use Firefox. 2.0. Version 3 crashes me bad. And I clear cookies with CCleaner between surveys, check email for comfirmations, etc.
I have an approval rate of 75% or so.
It seems the free/no cc needed surveys will approve if they aren't the looping kind with gold/silver offers at the end.
Odd that.   :dontknow:

I like IE or Firefox best but IE seems to work best for me for offers. I think because most sites are designed to be compatible with it.

The poll statistics reflect that IE is the most used browser by 16%.  Firefox being the next at 12%.  Now, the question is of the two top browser's which one is most successful with offers?

I use Google Chrome. It's nice and speedy and doesn't use a lot of loading time. BUT I've learned that some survey sites won't accept this browser so I can't do some offers sometimes. =(

Round here I always use the newest version of Firefox, with Flash and Java turned on. I don't use any script, ad or popup blockers.

I use Opera for everything other than offers and daily surveys. Those places run too much non-standard code, and sometimes break in Opera. Even Opera 10.

Yes, it is addicting. I run my own forums and blogs, and I'm a member of several others. Several!  ;D

No, it doesn't credit faster. But it can help get them to credit at all.

After replying to this post a while back I had some experiences with IE that led me to Firefox.  I noticed that some people mentioned slow systems with IE so I thought I would share my experience.

I had upgraded to IE8 and over time realized that my system was getting slower and slower.  Also, IE8 was freezing often.  I thought it was my system and defragged, cleaned up old files, etc.  Then I decided it might be IE.  After doing a lot of investigation I found out the IE8 does have problems, does slow some systems down drastically and even more interesting in most cases can't be deleted from Programs in the Control Panel.  Neither can IE7 for many of us.  To roll back to IE7 from IE8 or further to IE6 you must go through the command line.  Microsoft has good instructions for this on their support site.  IE7 has a lot more security so if you are having any of these problems  you may want to stick with IE7.

BTW my system problems disappeared after I did the roll back to IE7!

That is interesting.   I am using Safari but i have has some problems accessing every so often -- but not usually.  I have Firefox and I use Firefox now and then.    I did not realize that a browser makes a difference in crediting.  Does anyone know why that would be?  I just about never qualify for the dailies.  Maybe I should try with Firefox??????

I use Google Chrome 99% of the time and the other 1%, Firefox. They are both light years ahead of IE, in terms of saftey, security and every other feature. However, Chrome is much faster than Firefox. If Chrome was a 10 in speed, Firefox would be a 6 and IE a 3.
