i go to the store and everything keeps going up and up it needs to stop sooner then later but i doubt it
-
i feel you! sometimes, not meaning to, i laugh out loud at the prices
of some things. well, it's more like a half-scoff, half-laugh.
but yes, prices keep rising, yet my salary doesn't. interesting.

Yes, food prices are going up along with everything else. It wouldn't be so bad if wages also went up.

Yes!
Things like milk, cheese, & etc. are so expensive these days.

It is not just the grocery stores, it is just about everything! I see Restaurant's starting the raise their prices also on certain dishes.

I agree. If those who work complain about prices what are people without jobs to say to this nonsense. We just can't keep up much longer. Pretty soon we won't even go to the stores and then to who they gone sell then? It is becoming a daily struggle to survive. :crybaby2:

It is related to the high price of fuel worldwide. It is very expensive to move goods thru air, land and water.
-
As long as Bernanke deems it necessary to print more and more money the price of everything is going to continue to go up. It's called "inflation." Unfortunately this administration has no problem with that.
-
Everything is getting expensive and my paycheck surely isn't catching up very well. That's why I coupon search, look for sales and make sacrifices in other things to adjust to the inflation of the market.
-
hopefully things won't get too expensive.

Yes sometimes I feel like my money goes nowhere. I get $100 of groceries in the cart and it looks like I bought nothing. I know I make about as much as my parents did and I don't know how they did it with two kids. I guess that was the 80's and things were cheaper then.
I've resorted to making some cleaning products at home to save money. Pinterest is a great resource for this.

Think about us poor seniors on fixed income it is really tuff. Your paychecks maybe getting smaller what ss ours is
pathetic hope youmguys have it when you retire

I can't think of anything that I have to buy that is NOT getting more expensive.

We are experiencing the same thing too with food prices especially and dairy is very expensive. I heard that the gas prices going up caused everything to rise because of the transportation costs, but whenever the prices go down the regular prices never follow suit. The first time I remember such high gas was during 9/11. We haven't seen hardly anything decent with gas since. And other costs just keep rising. I don't believe the cost of living will be able to keep pace regardless of what this administration does. I just expect it to get a lot worse before it gets better.

We are just having to shop wiser and buying at stores that are cheaper. I know when we have to out of town i will go to walmart to shop and spend$2-300dollars and not go back for a long time I can save a whole lot compared to our grocery store here. But i have to be going for a reason like the doctors or other reasons, because the cost of gas.
I know they say shop at home support your local stores but darn when you can save so much why.

Yeah, the prices are so high! I went to the store to get a gallon of milk and it was almost $4!!!
-
I don't believe it's this administration's fault. I think it is Big Oil. Those guys are making billions, there is plenty of oil, so I don't know why the prices keep going up. It seems when things do go up, like groceries for example, and then if the price of gas happens to go down, everything else stays the same price. Doesn't make a hell of lot of sense. :BangHead:

You are 100% correct!!!! The prices seem to climb overnight and that wouldn't be so bad if SALARIES WOULD CLIMB THAT FAST TOO!!!! Sadly, many people are still unemployed or under employed so it's still impossible to keep up!!!!!

its so hhigh its riducoulouse like my spelling lol soup went up 50 cents overnite. one day we might not be able to afford food then what.. ive started buying items on sale and canning them and dehydrating food its was quite an expense but im hoping that it pays off in the long run.

i don't like it at all how things are getting to expensive too, specially the food prices, and other things as well , now you can barely buy food with 100 dollars, i can only hope things get better.
