Title: Todays chuckle!!

An elderly man had serious hearing problems for many years. He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a set of hearing aids that allowed him to hear 100%. The elderly man went back in a month to the doctor and the doctor diagnosed, “Your hearing is perfect! Your family must be very pleased.” To which the elderly man said, “Oh, I haven't told them yet. I just sit and listen to their conversations. I've already changed my will three times!”

In my family we believe my Grandmother can hear more than she puts on.

Good one!  Reminds me of Grandpa Hill ~ never knew when he had his hearing aid turned up or not.  He never let on & answered when he wanted.

Thank you for that, I am still smiling because I thought of my mom. She had perfect hearing when she wanted too.

Very funny story.  A lot of elderly men and women hear a lot better than they give us the impression that they can't.  I really believe that. :) :D ;D

This reminds me of my mom.  Although she can't hear.  The other day I said I have ham in my teeth and she looks at me and says "you have sand in your feet" what...I just about died laughing.  That finally helped her decide to go to the doctor today and get fitted for a hearing aid.  Maybe now she can join in the conversation.   :wave:

I must say he is a very wise man!!!!
