It is the day before my election meeting, I will be stuck at home cooking cornbeef and cabbage. It will be way different than last year, that is for sure.
-
I never have plans for St. Pattys day I just have a couple of green beers.
-
st patricks day..humm not a clue what my plans are yet :icon_rr:
-
I don't normally have any scheduled plans for Saint Paddy's Day. I do, however, will attend any around town activities such as a festival or local park sponsred event. I remember when I was in school and if you didn't wear some kind of green on you-the other kids at the school(mostly friends) would pinch you, lol. I look back at that behavior now as an adult and I can't believe we all ran around the school pinching each other, ;D.
-
Since St. Paddy's Day is on a Sunday, my family and I are going to Sunday School, Church, and my choir's anniversary is on that day as well. I have to go sing at 3 pm and eat a light snack. :) ;D
-
i have nothing planed it is a saint holiday people should be in church not eating food drinking
-
I don't plan to do anything, just a normal day for me. :)
-
Hopefully celebrating the birth of my new grandson, my daughter in law is due anyday. Would love a St. Patty's day baby.
-
Nothing, I'm not Irish.
-
I usually do not do anything for st patricks day i usually forget wake up and wear something green is the most i do i dont consider it a holiday to me but that just me im not into getting drunk just because i can and its st patricks day stupid !!
-
The only plans at the moment is to find something green to wear to church ~ don't want to get pinched. We don't do anything special for St. Patrick's Day.
-
Well since it's going to fall on a Sunday, I will maintain my Sunday routine and that is attending church and worship the Lord. Besides that I think corn beef is also in the makings. Sounds like a St. Patty's meal for crying out loud. Hey where's the beef? by the way has anyone steamed their corned beef for a change? It is really Super Delish!
-
We will be golfing in the early morning, the we have a large party that we are attending with about 40 friends, can't wait to get my "green" on. ;D
-
I will be at our Visitors Center performing in a choir with other participants.
-
I have no plans for the day itself. But I will be looking for someplace I can eat corned beef and cabbage! That's one of my favorite meals. My market always sells corned beef to be cooked, so I always have access to it.
-
I don't have any particular plans as I don't really participate, but if I am going out I'm wearing green anyway to avoid being pinched. I hate the pinching, especially if this around a workday as my co-workers are pretty naughy/nasty during these times.

its my little sisters birthday on St Pattys so we're celebrating that. We're starting today actually. We're baking her a clover cake and getting cool clover balloons and green decorations everywhere. Shes also having a few friends over and going to get mani pedis, dinner and a movie. I know people are partying and what not but Ill have a good time helping make her birthday fun and eating sweets :-X :-X eventhough i shouldnt be! haha ;D

I'm going to hide from the neighborhood St. Pat's Day beer bust. All the wanna be 'Irish for a day' will get totally over served and start arguements and worse. Don't need that at all!
-
I invited my friend over for cornbeef and cabbage...
-
work, work and work...and then sleep!
-
My plans are not to drink. Just eat a nice dinner. I cannot stand the parade here in NYC.
-
Selection Sunday!
-
Working, so no plans. A friend who is a dancer just purchased her green eyelashes and tutu to dance at a casino today while her fiance cooks the traditional corn beef and cabbage for dinner when she finishes.
-
A friend of mine is in a local pipe and drum band (that is "pipe" as in bagpipe)... Every year for St. Patty's Day, their band goes around to several different bars in town, play a few songs before moving on to the next bar. I guess this year there having 2 charter buses following the band on the "pub crawl". I don't think I'll go to all of the bars that the band is going to, but I'm sure I'll be seeing them at some point during the day. There is one Irish bar that actually has tents set up outside and has two bands going at once: the one outside is usually some traditional Celtic band while the one inside is more modern doing covers of rock bands from the 80s to today. They also serve Irish stew or corn beef & cabbage during the afternoon to early evening, so I'll probably head down there at least for supper before going downtown where there are several bars all in walking distance of each other.
-
I love st Pattys day!! Going out to a few bars with great friends.... Can't wait!!! Bring on the green beer!!!
-
Don't know yet so probably nothing lol - we have friends that have "get togethers" where we eat some good food, drink a couple of drinks but I haven't heard anything is going on for St. Patty's.

Am not planning anything. Unfortunately I am home alone. My other half is out of state visiting his brother in the hospital (on deaths bed). :(
-
I will be doing nothing- absolutely nothing
Tomorrow will just be another regular day

I've got to work but have a great St. Patricks Day everyone!
-
I went to a party Friday night that my old boss has been hosting for many years as a political fundraiser. That was my only St. Patrick's Day event planned. There have been some wild ones in the past, though, that's for sure!

It is my 68th birthday. ;D St. Pat's Day is a great day to have a birthday. I had a pedicure and my nails are green. I will wear green and go out to celebrate. My city does it big. I will go to Whole Foods for their irish buffet and then out to hear celebrations in downtown. :peace:
