Do you believe in ghosts? If so have you seen one before?
-
So no one has ghost stories?
-
I have never seen one but I do believe they exist.
-
I never saw one, don't know anyone who has, so I would have to say no.
-
i believe in "ghosts" i call them spirits--i believe that our love one are with us as guardian angels to help us with the daily struggles we have --i also believe spirits come to us in dreams to reasure us they are ok--just me and my thinking
-
Yes. I believe them. I also believe that quantum physics supports the existence of ghosts, in some fashion. The First Law of Thermodynamics states that energy cannot be created or destroyed; energy can only disperse.
Therefore that energy present in a living person, especially consciousness, will disperse after death. Will it have a form? Who knows. But it does continue to exist.
Society, people, have also been trained to view anything to do with ghosts as absurd. I can imagine that many people have ghost stories but do not want to say because they are afraid of being ostracized. Of being thought of as crazy.
I have some tales to tell, myself, but I am loathe to repeat them on any public forum. Besides, ghost stories are best told in a dark and stormy night... :o
:bunny:

yeah... there is scientific evidence they exist its energy ... and i have had experiences ...but you better pray about that... and be careful about opening doors you shouldnt...demons pose as friendly spirits...
-
I don't believe in ghosts

I believe in the Holy Ghost.

I am tempted to agree with this. I would like to think that the great people the we love and who love us, that we lose in death, are still around us and their love never dies,

Yes I believe in ghosts (Spirits) . I have had many experiences of seeing and hearing and much more on things that go on in my house. It does NOT scare me by a long shot! I love talking to them when things start to happen in my home because it is very exciting, annoying, scarey and whatever else you may want to call it. You MUST have an open mind also. That is so important so you dont scare yourself half to death. Very interesting topic for me. I could tell you all something that has happened but dont believe you may want to hear it. But that is ok because I respect everyones opinion and replies. ;)

yes I see them all the time, and know when they are here in my house, I have a lot of orbs around my property, and they will talk to me in my husbands voice, and yes sometimes it will get to me, but mainly they are just curious too,..they watch me sleep, I will wake up and one will be in my face, and yes I jump, and tell then to leave me alone,. I had a son and his father in my house last week, and the son was a little slow, but he was a lot of fun, when I was working on the computer he would mimic me with his hands, his father stood behind me and just watched, he was protective, but nice,..i don't think he wants his son to know they have crossed, when I asked why they were here, he got real quiet in front of his son,. and I just left it alone,..

I haven't had any experiences myself but I do believe there are ghosts. Whether they're our loved ones or people who just don't want to move on I think there's ghosts everywhere.
-
i do not believe in them, but I acknowledge the possibility.
-
I believe in ghost or spirits. There are at least 6 in my house and it does not bother me at all. They are here for my comfort and protection.
-
I do believe in them. And yes I have seen one. When I was pregnant with my son me and my then husband was living with his parents, who had a two story house. No one was home but me. I was sitting in a chair in the corner when I saw a man going up the stairs to the baby's room( I already had the baby's room fixed up)
this man I had never seen before, only his pictures, because he had been dead for over 13 years. He is the man we named my son after.

I'm a realist. I've never seen a ghost and don't know of any one who has so I'm not a believer. I think we all just like the spooky concept of believing in them.
-
Not on your life. They do not exist and they are only for TV and the movies. All those stupid reality shows about ghost hunting are ridiculous. Remember, they are TV shows and the technology we have today they can recreate any kind of spirit.
-
No, I do not believe in ghosts.
-
I do believe in the paranormal. I had a few experiences while I attended college. It can be creepy at first. :)
-
I have never seen any ghosts, but have heard ghost stories from my relatives, which were thrilling to hear.
-
I really enjoy ghost stories but do not care for the so-called "reality" series on television. One of my favorite movies is "Ghost..." even though it is not scary at all. For the most part, I prefer the "oldies" scary movies as they seemed to focus more on plot and suspense and not so much on gore.

I do believe in ghosts, but I myself have never seen one. Some of my family members claim they have.
-
Yes. I was co-living with an elderly couple and little dog (ghosts/spirits) in my old Victorian house. Sometimes I could see the old man walking down the broad passageway with his walking stick (hazy figure), but I heard him often. The old lady was quite frail and always wore a pink button up sweater - she used to hang around my lounge. The little dog was with the old man. I felt that they looked out for me.

AN interesting article I though I would share about life after death.
The worst possible thing a person can do to themselves is have no imagination, no open mind, and no willingness to look beyond one's own perceptions.

"Electrically charged particles, in particular electrons, trapped by the earth's magnetic field create the soft glow of the northern lights or aurora borealis. Perhaps she was made of some very small electrically charged particles that could travel through walls and create the display of light that was manifested. Our understanding of elementary particles is still in its infancy. There are many paradoxes here that show the range of possibilities for quantum mechanics far exceeds that of atoms. "

If we believe that energy cannot be created or destroyed, a fundamental theory in physics, and we believe human beings are/have energy, then the question becomes: Where does that energy go once there is no more life in the human body?
This is where I think ghosts come from. They are leftover human energy that has, for some reason, remained on this plain that we live on.
I have also seen ghosts--more like quickly moving light orbs in my kitchen. I have been in the presence of a shadow person, who unnerved me greatly. While I haven't captured any Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP), I have heard many collected by reputable people who investigate hauntings that lead me to believe EVPs are some sort of vocal energy being used by being we cannot physically see. I have seen some very interesting photos that may be images of ghosts.
Not every ghost story is true. But I believe some of them (and bits of large stories) are true.

I second that. I had mentioned the First Law of Thermodynamics in an earlier post. I am glad to see someone else knows it, as well.

I don't know what I believe where ghosts are concerned. My hubby died 1/23 and one night after they had been in the same spot for hours his oxygen tanks starting falling over. The bible says "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" but I wonder if all our loved ones aren't still all around us just in another dimension.
-
i am open to the possibility of ghosts, not sure if i believe or not
-
I do believe in ghosts....
I saw my grandfather when I was about 5.... I know it was real!!!
-
yes many experiences in the house I live in and a few friends that have passed
-
I believe that ghosts exist, but that's just me. My sister saw a ghost when we were growing up. I remember looking out of the window when we were children and seeing a man telling something to get off his back. To this day, I couldn't tell you what was on his back, but my late grandmother said he had killed a man. Maybe it was his spirit. :D :o ???

I believe in them but have never seen one.

I know my cats are looking at ghosts, but they are not afraid.
