What's a bad habit you have you want to break? For me, it's falling asleep with the tv on and/or forgetting to put on my retainer/brush my teeth....its a good thing I set my alarm the night before!

Staying up late and fell asleep at the computer.

My worse habit is eating when I'm not even hungry. I would love to be able to control this mindless eating because it's usually junk food that I choose at those times.

Keeping my big fat mouth shut. No one really needs to hear what I think nor do they really wish to. Just a lesson I keep having to learn over and over again.

Bad habit: Overeating because it makes me fat!

smoking cigarette's for me I think I am gonna go get hypnotized can I just can't do it on my own. Have tried chantix but it makes your mind not think about a cigarette for along time but not long enough for me. :)

Yes, falling asleep with the TV on, and forgetting to set the timer so it can turn itself off, as well as sleeping on my belly. Also, I always forget to do my bed.

My bad habits are kind of focused around a single theme: not doing enough for myself. I work way too much and never take time to maintain my health by going to the gym/working out in the basement or running. I rarely have time to read and I always short my sleep during the week. I almost skipped a vacation because I wanted to stay home and be at my kid's sporting events and I didn't want to take off of work. I also hate to spend money: I have been in the same jeans for two years, same boots for four years and wear them to work every day. I haven't gotten a hair cut in four months. Am I painting a pretty picture? A cheap workaholic with a very privileged family!

I would like to quit smoking someday, Have tried before but no go :BangHead: Don't drink, go partying or staying out late. I don't sit around munching, so if i can get hubby from chain smoking :BangHead: :BangHead: It would be better, He agreed to only smoke outside now and not in the house. really helps there.
Now i only smoke a part of one now and not a whole one. Am getting better. :wave:

I have a bad habit also of falling asleep and leaving the tv on. Electricity cost money and I need to start setting a sleep timer again but I always forget.

My bad habits are not maintaining cleanliness, both in my grooming and in my environment.
For my personal grooming, I sometimes find myself rushing to get to work in the morning, so I'll skip brushing my teeth (and just use a stick of gum instead) and dunk my head under the faucet (being follically challenged helps somewhat in that regard).
As for keeping a clean environment, I keep putting off things like vacuuming and folding my laundry (I just pull my clothes out of the dryer and pile them on my bed). And at work my papers are sorted chronologically: things that I've used most recently are on the top of the stack while others that haven't been used in a while are on the bottom. ;D

forgetting to take out my contact lenses :/
theyre the ones that allow you to sleep in them over night
however I forget several nights at a time sometimes :o ooppss!

I am trying to avoid eating too fast. And at the same time I am told by my family that I am a loud eater. Meaning I make a lot of noises while eating. Well I can't help it if the food taste so good. But I will definitely work on overcoming some of these bad habits.

Uh, it's probably a tie between not eating and drinking pop. I've noticed I'll eat like 2 meals a day and sip at a pop the rest of the time. I think the pop gives me enough sugar that I don't want to eat, but at the same time is horrible in about every other way. And, because I don't have any nutrients from food, I get tired and don't want to exercise, which is probably why I've been stuck at this same weight for what seems like forever.
That, or staying awake way longer than I should and then sleeping the rest of the day away. I get a big jolt of energy at like midnight and it keeps me up till 4am no problem. Well, then when I realize the time, it's already way too late so I go to sleep. I normally wake up sometime in the afternoon which annoys me.

I spend too much time on my computer and I'd like to adopt a more physically active lifestyle. :heart:

I overeat and could stand to lose a few pounds. But I snack until it is gone. :)

i think that my bad habbit is choosing what to wear lol.. my husband hates what i do and i dnt know y i do it but i do if i choose a shirt to wear and put it on and if i see that i do not like the way it looks than i will take it off and put it in the dirty clothes when i havent even used it and i will do it until i find a shirt i like idk y but its wierd... :wave:

My bad habit would be bitting my fingernails..... They look terrible!

I don't drink enough real water throughout the day and instead wait right before bed, when I'm really thirsty! :sad1: I of course drink other liquids, but none are as hydrating as water.

i've had my numbers of bad habbits but the one I am proud of the most for breaking is smoking cigarettes, because it is bad for your health and I feel proud that I quit because I think my health has improved because of it

For me, it is staying up until 2 or 3 in the morning taking surveys and watching TV and then over sleeping and being late for what I need to do.

If I had to say that I have a bad habit I guess it would be eating to many sweets. I have never bit my nails or anything like that. Infact my nails used to be beautiful. Now they break so easily after having my girls.

Being to passive.....allowing others to get away with way to much at my expense, and telling myself I will say something and then want....and eating to much....

My bad habit is smoking... I guess Ill quit when Im ready I just pray about it.

habits - and addictions are very close.
Habits- eating when I'm bored.
Addictions - soda pop.
