we try to i don't eat red meat and haven't in about 7 years and i do feel better i eat seafood chicken or pork plus i eat salads everyday and fruits
-
It is something I really work on, then someone brings home something that really junk, and everyone ends up having some.
-
not really i eat whatever i want and just dont really think about it
-
I try to eat healthy, but I really crave the "junk" foods. I'm pretty good during the week, but not so much on the weekends!
-
We eat healthier than we used to for sure. We don't eat much fried food anymore and I always cut the fat off any meat we are eating. We eat a lot of chicken and quite a bit of pork but we do still eat beef too. We always have veggies (fresh when we can get them) and try not to eat a lot of potatoes. I love fruit and that is usually all I eat for breakfast and thats all I usually snack on thru the day. There are times though when I just crave some sweets or salty snacks and I will eat them but just try not to do so too often.

I did and then I got married
-
i try to,,but it is hard to do :icon_rr:
-
Sometimes I do.
-
Lately I have, but I used to eat a lot of junk.
-
I went for over a year eating healthy but lately old habits have been resurfacing...dessert more frequently, accepting cinnamon rolls from a baker friend, eating more chocolate-- the list is disturbing. I need to just buckle down and say "no." Junk food is more convenient than putting together a healthy salad or veggie casserole. Hopefully, this post will be a reminder to quit being so nutritionally lazy.

I think I tend to be an emotionally eater, I eat much more junk when I am upset. Otherwise, I have given up soda pretty much this past year, I am a vegetarian so never no kind of meat for me. My biggest weakness is potato chips, they are the hardest for me to quit! The sweets aren't that hard for me to give up.
-
I did when am single but when I got married my husband loves to eat meat so sometimes I ate also but usually I really eat healthy food like vegetables and fish.
-
No, I will eat what I want.
-
i try too.not easy all the time.but we have a garden planted so i am anxiously waiting on my tomatoes
-
Yes, most of the time. I try to avoid overly processed foods and to stick to simple fresh items. A typical dinner - grilled fish, fresh veggies grilled or roasted, salad. Fresh fruit for snacks - very simple. Lots of water
My big downfall right now is soda. It's diet soda but still not good for you.
Because we eat this way most of the time I feel okay about splurging on a special treat once in a while.
-
For the most part i do. I enjoy salads and fruit and vegetables. I also enjoy burgers and cupcakes.
As long as you don't overdo anything I think it is possible to enjoy a wide variety of food, whether they are "healthy" or not.
-
I'm pretty much a vegetarian except at certain functions and I take supplements so I try. Eating too much is my problem.
-
:)justdepends on the day. some days I eat crap other days I restrain myself LOL.
-
i try to eat healthy, but i find myself eating a pack of oreos or a handful of jellybeans...
i exercise for about an hour daily to make up for it though! (if that still counts)

I'm 70 years old almost be read me all my life I love hotdogs and baloney and chili dogs steaks and hamburger roast I also like chicken dressing and I also like fish I like the phase where have all kind of things in salads which I don't eat much of and fried chicken also represents a bad for you but my hope is good I have no high blood pressure no high cholesterol! So why should I give up everything that so I can lose 10 pounds and doctors what was baloney asked me to give up everything that taste good. What you get here to the life you spend in a nursing home. So give me the red meat and everything Siemens life will live longer doctors on average person doctors are having average) lifespans going.

I think I'm eating better, but not as well as I should.
-
I find it hard financially to eat healthy as far as being able to afford enough fruit and vegetables but I am doing better. I am no longer eating any junk food and I got off soda and am drinking water now. I am losing most weeks a pound to two.
-
Sometimes I do but most of the time I love red meat. I eat chicken and fish as well.
-
For the most part we try and eat healthy.
-
We started a diet plan 3 weeks ago, cut out alot of foods! Lots more salads, veggies and fruits. So far down about 10 lbs.
-
I've definitely gotten better over this past year. I've been laying off the sweets a LOT lately and drinking more water. I'm 30 lbs down 10 more pounds to go. I turn 31 next month (unbelievably) and at this time in my life I'm starting to think about my long term health.
-
Yes I do...
We eat chicken or fish.
Lots of veggies and fruit.
I drink soy milk and no sugar and few carbs in my diet.
**if I have a day where I didn't eat real healthy... I do better the next day.
Happy Earnings!!

I try to eat healthier by cutting back on junk food and soda's and eating less meat an more fruits and vegetables.
-
I eat terrible. I use prepared food because they're fast. I am tired coming home from work so I stop and get high salt Chinese take out. I stop for a sausage biscuit on the way to work because I didn't take time to eat at home and I can eat and drive (another bad thing). I was stressed out from visiting Mom at the nursing home every night and so I snacked afterwards-salty stuff. When she died recently, I thought I could get back on track because I was eating fast food on the way to and from the hospital before and after work-70 miles round trip. I didn't change.
-
Yes. We eat healthy. We cook all of our meals. We eat organic. I do eat red meat that has not been treated with hormones and chemicals. It is perfectly healthy to do so, in moderation.
I am on a ketogenic diet to control my seizures. All of our food is healthy.
-
I do my best to cook my own meals or grab healthy snacks ... but occasionally I eat some fast food, like KFC, Pizza etc...
-
I try.....but usually does not work well working and going to school does not leave much free time at all usually eat on the go !!!
-
We work on it all the time. Lately I have given up meat and just eat fish. I don't use butter or margarine. The hardest thing for me is to stay away from sugar. I can go for a few days and then I have to have a small fix. I wish I could give it up completely.
-
I try to minimize the calorie intake. I eat minimal meat. I almost always get my 5 servings a day of fruit and veggies. There are times where I eat out or at a gathering and I feel like I am missing something if there is no fruit, veggies, or a salad to go with the meal.
-
i try but usually not so much
-
I use to but got sick. I feel alot better eating a normal diet.
-
I recently started to go vegetarian and I am feeling really healthy. I always had a problem keeping my weight down and had some health problems lately and have decided to stop eating meat, cheese, milk, gluten free now and cut sugar items. In about two weeks I lost 9 lbs. easy. I hope the weight loss keeps coming off. I always preferred salad for a meal and have cut out processed salad dressings and prefer to use lemon and apple cider vinegar. I don't eat processed foods now and cook everything from scratch. My husband does not like to eat the way I am eating so I still cook him the standard American diet. I am watching youtube for ideas on vegetarian and vegan ideas. I feel really healthy now and will see how it all goes.
-
I try to eat some fruits and vegetables each day but I don't make a big issue of it. I do have a nutritional drink every other day.
-
I try to but them fast food places are to close to home and we live real close to some restaurants so that turns out to be pretty good cuz you get two sides with a meal so we get our veggies.
-
Yes, I try to eat healthy. I rarely eat fast food anymore. It makes me feel gross
-
I try to eat healthy but cannot do it everyday.
