Title: Why the weather patterns have changed?
Post by: kat112073 on April 22, 2013, 03:01:55 pm
The last few years it seems the weather has become more and more strange. We are almost done with April and the weather is still cold. What gives? I believe it has a lot to do with the destruction that is going on around the world, such as earthquakes, bombings etc. Also we haven't helpled either because we do a lot of damage to planet earth and this is why we are having issues with the weather. If we don't control what we do expect more problems with the weather.

The earth has always had strange weather.  This is nothing new.  The weather always changes and it almost nothing to do with human beings.

Some of the things that change the weather are:  Earth's orbit, Solar Cycles, Cosmic rays, earthquakes, volcanism, sea-floor spreading, plate tectonics, and a number of other factors.  There are astrophysicists studying the sun who believe that the sun will soon hit a "minimum".  It if does, the weather will turn much colder with each year.

But only time can tell.

Thanks, it could be other reasons as well. Glad you agree.

Another interesting point is this:  During the 1600s - 1800s the weather conditions were much worse than they are now.  This is partly due to the Little Ice Age we had then.  There were a couple large volcanic eruptions at that time, too.

The planet goes through periods of warming and cooling.  In the 1800s, we began warming again.  The weather in North American was far more intense between 1750-1880.  It could be much worse than it has been.

I don't believe the weather patterns have changed. Weather normally goes in Cycles every 15-20 years. You have droughts that hit certain parts of the country about every 15 year cycle for about 2-3 years. Just like the Casadis - they come out about every 7-9-12 year cycle.

I don't know much about weather patterns I just know today is 40 some degrees colder then it was Monday. But i also know in another month we will be having hot hot  weather and will just get hotter for a couple of months. Oh well  you can try :BangHead: :BangHead: But you cannot control the weather just live with it.

It's probably because there's too much pollution in the environment that's causing the weather changes.

In my opinion I think it has something to do with the polluting and destruction of earths resources by man.

Thank you for mentioning this.  The weather patterns always change because they are cyclical.  There are oscillations in the temperature of the oceans.  These cycles take decades.  There are cycles of the sun.  We are currently in the middle of a solar cycle.

There have always been changes to the earth's climate.  It is regular.  It happens all the time.
