Hope you're feeling better soon, oldbuddy. I remember when my husband went through that. The doctors and hospital were such screw ups, they had him laying in a bed for TWO DAYS before they even TOUCHED him, then RELEASED him. By the time he had the surgery to remove his gallbladder, the Surgeon who was doing the surgery discovered that it BURST. It was a VERY long recovery after that.

Mine was like one big gallstone inside and infected around it, but fortunately they could still remove it the traditional way.

I'm sorry to hear you had to go through that. Hopefully all is well now and you are off to a good recuperation.
Good luck!

Good luck on your recovery.

Oh geez I hope you are doing ok now. I had the same thing happen to me back in November last year! I think that the issues I had for years was that and no Dr. picked up on it! In a few days after being home you will start to feel better. Just try to get up and move as much as you feel you can. I was out of work for 2 weeks and it took a few weeks after that to feel 100% ... I felt like a truck hit me but that was from exhaustion and the surgery itself..Feel Better!!! You'll feel better every day

Glad to hear you are doing well, hope you have a speedy recovery!

Glad you've come through your surgery and are able to recover at home.
Nothing like tlc in the comfort of your own home.

Glad it went okay and your alright. Congrats for getting out. ;D

I'm glad you are out of the hospital. Hopefully you had the surgery that isn't as taxing on your body. My grandmother also had gallbladder surgery, but she had laser surgery I believe so her recovery is going much quicker which is good since she's in her 70's.
I hope you get well soon. Best wishes to you and yours.

Oldbuddy, I was really sorry to hear about your emergency surgery, but I'm glad you are recuperating now. May you feel as good as new very soon. I know that getting up and around as soon as possible after surgery is good, but don't overdo. Baby steps first!

Hope you feel better soon.
