If you believed that your significant other was cheating on you would you spy on them to find out? Or would you just ask them and take their word?

Now this is a tough one since the basis for haveing a relationship with a significant other is trust.  So once you have blown through the trust issue it is real easy to spy on the other person with the idea of finding proof but regaining trust?????  Not so easy once you cross the line and begin the spying.
