This just irritates me so bad as I am jogging or walking in the park to come across some poop on the pathway. some civilized pet owners clean up their dog's poop and bag it. I really appreciate them but the others, I don't know. The sign says NO PETS ALLOWED!
Why are they there in the first place?

The same reason, that some people go 80 miles an hour or more on the freeway when it's only posted at 65! They believe they are above the law Margaret Fred didn't not the. Another reason is people don't pick up the poop in some towns pay back band plastic bags bags and bookstores are people used to use to pick up the dog poop. And they don't have things to do it anymore like they used to exploit so when you start banning some things that are used for and are recyclable you have consequences like dog people not be of pick up the dog stuff because they don't have the things to do it! I think it's rude personally not to but I can understand how they don't have something built with that they sometimes don't do it blame the cities and states for banning plastic bags and other things. Complain to the city Council about that then people might be a plastic need to pick up the dog.

I know exactly what you mean and would like to vent with you. There was a time I owned 3 dogs. I kept them in my fenced in backyard. If people are going to have dogs than they need to be responsible and respectful of everyone that doesn't have them. There is nothing worse than DOG CRAP on your shoes. It never fails there is never a good time for it to happen either. There are no excuses either...use plastic retail bags people. We living in a crappy apartment. 2 family's in front 2 family's in back. We are in back..we have a huge grassy back yard. The people up front let there dogs POOP on both sides of the building...than they don't clean it up. So since we don't want to live entirely like hillbillies we mow the lawn since the landlord only has it done once a month (maybe) BIG DOGS = BIG POOP and just when we think we got it all bam..there it is on the tires of the lawn mower. GRRRR Or our kids step in it on the way up to our vehicles or even to catch the school bus. Seriously? What A load of BLEEP!

If you have a dog then you need to take care of it. Picking up poop included. My only guess can be that they figure someone who works at the park/trail will pick it up or they're just plain lazy.

Some people who don't clean after their dogs are just plain lazy. There is nothing worse then walking in dog poop. I have 5 dogs, 2 big and 3 little. We have tons of trails for dog walking, and you have no idea how many times I have watched a dog poop and the owner just walks away, waiting for someone else to clean up their dog's mess. I watched a dog poop in Petco once, and the owner just left it lay on the floor. I never take my dogs for a walk without a poop bag, and I clean up my yard at least once a day, mostly twice a day. If you have a dog, clean up after it, it is disgusting not to!

I hate having to dodge dog crap on a trail! I know many pet owners are responsible, but the few that aren't really ruin it for everyone else. The city was getting quite a few complaints, so they set up plastic doggy bag stations at the start and end of each trail. Guess what? Now I see blue doggy crap bags all over the trail. This is just the epitome of laziness!

yes this is one of the nasty things about some folks that lives in this country, i some time actually see them walk away and, am like really really, so am like if you don't want to pick up poop with a bag then take some news paper with you and put it under your dog when you know he or she is going to poop then, you can just wrap up the paper and put it in a bag. dang people stop being so lazy.

Yes I cant stand that. Everyone in my apartment complex got letters on our door telling us we might have to get rid of our animals due to people not picking up after there them. That irritated me because its not fair to the people that do pick up after their pets (like me).

I don't know why people feel they don't have to clean up after their pets. They hurt the rest of us responsible pet owners who do clean up after our pets because we want to take them everywhere with us but not infringe on other peoples rights.

A friend and I had to free a puppy that was chained up and had its head caught in a large plastic jar which apparently had been left out for the pup to play with. The owners were gone and the pup had knocked over its water pans; temperature outdoors was around 100 degrees. Pet owners should consider all the negative possibilities before leaving their pets for long periods of time.

I was at a restaurant once when a waitress came around and asked if we owned the car with the dog in it. It was during the summer months and someone had left their dog in their dog in their car while they dined. They police asked the restaurant management to find out who owned the dog.
Some people are not willing to take the responsibility that goes with dog ownership. It is a same.

I'd say some people that have pets are barely responsible enough to take care of themselves let alone a pet. And they are lazy too

Oh I agree. I hate hearing stories about people neglecting animals! It breaks my heart. Animals are helpless and innocent.

It is something that happens none too often. I take it that they do not care as long as they are not pooping in their house, but what if people step in it? Nobody wants to walk around with poop on their shoes, nor do they want to have to clean it off. They should do the same as the other people; buy a pooper scooper and bag it. :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :wave: :wave:

Stick some plastic bags in your pocket and next time you see someone's dog pooping - hand them a bag and thank them for using uit :'( ::)

Some people need to realize all the responsibilities of owning a dog before they get one.

they simply ignore it because they know no one knows it's from their dog, so people won't nag after the dog owner..
did that even make sense haha

yeah that pisses me off too. sometimes when im walking, im not looking at da ground but i been lucky to never step into it tho. i will go crazy if that ever happens to me tho.
