Title: Favorite Thrift Shops
Post by: vp44 on June 29, 2013, 05:49:40 pm
:)My fav is Savers in my area. We did not have one in the area I moved to 2 yrs ago but when I and others requested one YaY we have one now. I have often dropped off items to get a discount and a inner pleasure of donating. I also just drop off items just because. I am not rich nor d I have a lot of money. There is some who is more worse than Me and my son. Who else give and are also poor like myself, but feel giving is in the heart and not the POCKET? :bunny: :)

Vinny's is my favorite (St Vincent DePaul)
I like Goodwill and a local called Neat Repeats as well.

Salvation Army is the place to go down here as they have deals on everything.  Example:  I love Sport Jackets.  The ones I buy are $75 - $300.  I buy them in new condition for $3.00 - $7.00

I rarely find anything that I want/need at any of them.  Many of them support good causes though.

I like the DAV and Red Rack stores. Actually, they are owned by the same company.

I don't remember the actual name but I like them because they are cheaper than Goodwill which has gotten more expensive over the last few years.

I agree. This store is one of the best places around here to find popular brands for a mere fraction of the actual price.
The quality of the clothing is like new and the prices are very reasonable.

I don't shop out of Thrift shops for anything.  The idea of buying something that some else has worn many times, makes my skin crawl and itch.  Or anything else from a thrift shop.
