If anyone is interested, there are several meteor showers that can be seen this year. Three have already occurred: Quadrantids, Lyrids, and Eta Aquariids. In August, the Perseids meteor shower is supposed to be at its peak on the 12th. The Draconids will be visible in early October, Taurids in early November & the Leonids in mid November. The Geminids will be visible in mid December and the Ursids about a week later. We'll also get to see Comet ISON. Here's a photo listing a couple things to look for later this year (and a couple that have already occurred).

Gee thanks. I don't know if I'll remember to look for all those. I know the Leonids because I'm a Scorpio, but I still forget to watch for them. What's worse is that I'm a night person so I'm usually up. :-[
