Title: How many piercings do you have

i have two in each ear. i remember the first time i have my ears pierce, it got infected because i wasn't treating it with alcohol and turning it.

Post by: vickysue on July 09, 2013, 03:53:30 pm: Nary a one now. Had my ears pierced a long time ago and never could find any earrings that i could wear. Always broke out and had nasty stuff around the earrings. I cleaned them every day with alchol in fact several times aday. Finally said enough. Sold all of my earrings and let the holes grow back. I don't wear anything metal.

Post by: ejholt on July 10, 2013, 02:31:51 am: I only have one pierced ear in each ear. I was in my 40's before I got up enough nerve to get them done. I was afraid it would hurt but when I had it done it did not hurt to much. Hope everyone has a wonderful day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I can leave earrings out of the first holes because they were done with a needle but the second holes were done by the gun and if I leave them without earrings for more then a couple hours they close and I've had them at least 20 years. I was 11 when the first ones were done in the late 70's.

The first time my ears were pierced, I was 8, and that was with a needle and thread. They became infected because nobody took care of my ears and I caught a headache that lingered for a long time. One of our cousins came by, saw my ears, took scissors, cut the thread and yanked it out of my ears, which ended my headache. The next time my ears were pierced, I was 15, and they were also pierced with needle and thread. I took care of them as best as I could but, one night in combing my hair, I yanked the string in my right ear. It took awhile, but when it got well, the earring I was wearing came through my ear. I let that get completely well and had that ear pierced again. The next time my ear was pierced, I was 45, but it was with a gun and at the top of my ears. I wear my studs to keep them open. That has been my experience with ear piercings. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :wave:
