I usually get the 5 cents searches every day, but for some reason today every search I've done has come up invalid. I've tried on the toolbar on IE, Firefox, and Google...and it always says the same thing. Anyone else having that problem? :dontknow:

the Toolbar searches have been acting up for a lot of people lately, though I havent had any problems with it myself. From what other people are saying the problem seems to be fixed now.

Not fixed. Today, my account shows .04 earned, but the toolbar shows "Maximum Search Rewards Earned." Is that still the .05 cents necessary for the next day's gptc points? This isn't working out very well. Lots of glitches, never any fixes.

I usually do pretty well up until the 20th of each month then, for some reason, all my searches are invalid. I cannot explain this.

I know it used to be that if you searched for the same thing or a related item that it might act up because it does not have a logic aspect to it say if you were looking at Lincoln automobiles, and then Lincoln president, because the first word is the same it will think you are cheating the system and lock you out. At one time that would last for the rest of the month until it was reset. The other thing would be it you were submitting your 20 searches in a manner that the search tool thought was too fast, it would block you out the same way. Where I had my biggest trouble was when it would lock up my computer system , usually while viewing or attempting to view videos, and I would have to restart my whole computer, if I had not cleared the search window, once it was restarted, the search tool would start a new search on the last thing I had looked for and assume I was entering the same topic and cheating and would lock me out. I finally had to give up when it did it to me a couple months in a row on the 2nd or 3rd day of a new month. I do not rely on it for my 5 cents that often anymore as I figured it was still broken or would break on me soon enough. Things may have changed since then also, but I have not looked for such information through out the forums and do not recall seeing anything proactively presented to us. When things are broken or not working the forums are about the only place to find out what is going on and that is usually after a good number of folks have already suffered through finding out what hasn't been working.
