Planning innovative first-day "Get to know You" activities. The first few days are usually just for "fun."

Numerous planning meetings for the start of school, 1st week, September, and quarter and yearly goals.

The district meets together-mostly stay with teachers of your school. Hours of classes on topics of little interest.

District-wide rules are reviewed and other awards and hoopla occurs.

4 days of school usually result in one day in your classroom, about 15 hours! :BangHead:
