Never---NO WAY!!! I bet there's a few of you out there who remember (and enjoyed), bopping to the sounds of the Bee Gees,, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Donna Summers, etc., etc. It may not be fashionable, right now, but I just know there's some "closet" disco-maniacs out there!! Get out those polyester pants, and bump up that boombox...That's the way, ah, ah, ah, ah, I like it..ah, ah, ah, ah....GO K.C.!!!

I still love to listen to old disco music. C'mon.. even if you are not a fan.. you have to admit.. if you are at a bar or wedding and something like YMCA comes on you are out there doing the moves and singing along. It's addicting, LOL.

No... I don't have to admit it. Because I don't. Yeah, I don't chickendance or any of that crap either. I love to dance and was a dancer for years but just not that cheeseball stuff.
No thanks. You can keep it.

I am glad that I was not old enough to have to endure the disco years. I love all types of music, but I am so glad that disco died. :icon_rr: :sad1:
-
I was born in the late 80s so i couldnt relate , but , the music was fitting for the era that it was at the time
-
I like the disco music 100 times more than some of this new stuff, if you have kids around you have to bleep most of it out. Sometimes you will start watching a movie and that will be the end of it, because the music they play before the movie, you just know this is something you are not going to like.

Disco music to me is a kind or style of dance/pop music. Dance music and pop will always be with us. I think that the reason disco seems cheesy to some is because of everything else that went along with it and not so much the music. The height of the "disco" craze was 30 years ago, and music from decades ago will or could sound dated. Music styles come and go. Even music from the 80's or 90's could seem out of style to many listeners.

Back in the day, Disco and clubbin' were the way of life for 'some' of us...good times, I'll never forget.

Disco stu dosnt think so :icon_rr:

disco is not completly dead, there are still places you can go like a disco dance club or roller rinks. Almost every roller rink has a disco night!
-

from the disco era
and then theres the music
i hear on very few radio stations some disco
and there is one song they use all the time thats disco i just cant remember the name..
so no disco isnt dead
-
ITS NOT DEAD ITS JUST REMADE
-
uuuummmm yes here in the U.S. but other parts of the world they still do a little dance make a litle love get down tonight get down tonight
-
No disco aint dead cause it's on my ipod, LOL...To be serious, if your parents or older siblings listen to disco like my family did, the next generation will pick it up, but I doubt if people will be making new disco albums in this day in age. So in a way it is dead, but I still jam to it. :icon_rr:
-
didn't it die like 20 years ago or so :icon_rr:
-
I don't think so because the clubs still play some kind of disco music to get people on the floor.
-
