Title: Is Disco Dead??

I bet there's a few of you out there who remember (and enjoyed), bopping to the sounds of the Bee Gees,, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Donna Summers, etc., etc. It may not be fashionable, right now, but I just know there's some "closet" disco-maniacs out there!! Get out those polyester pants, and bump up that boombox...That's the way, ah, ah, ah, ah, I like it..ah, ah, ah, ah....GO K.C.!!!

No... I don't have to admit it. Because I don't. Yeah, I don't chickendance or any of that crap either. I love to dance and was a dancer for years but just not that cheeseball stuff.

Sometimes you will start watching a movie and that will be the end of it, because the music they play before the movie, you just know this is something you are not going to like.

I think that the reason disco seems cheesy to some is because of everything else that went along with it and not so much the music. The height of the "disco" craze was 30 years ago, and music from decades ago will or could sound dated. Music styles come and go. Even music from the 80's or 90's could seem out of style to many listeners.

and there is one song they use all the time thats disco i just cant remember the name..

so no disco isnt dead

So in a way it is dead, but I still jam to it. :icon_rr:
