Title: Garfield or Heathcliff? Which cartoon cat are you most familiar with?

I love them both! At one point in my life, I even had a red cat that I named "Garfield" and another cat who adopted my husband and I. She would jump into my car and go for rides and then decided one day she wanted to make our home her home. We named her "Nermal." Hehehe!!!

While Garfield likes to con Jon into giving him goodies, Heathcliff is just a big meanie. :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat: :wave:

Post by: de3ik on October 09, 2013, 12:49:02 am: I've heard of Heathcliff, but I always watched Garfield. My mom liked the movie (which I never saw in full), but I always tried to watch the cartoons. I liked how Garfield could be so funny with his nonstop eating and wisecracks, but at times I wished he would have been nicer to Odie. Even though I liked Garfield there were also times that even I wished Jon would ditch him for another cat, but his character would have been irreplaceable.

Post by: bhiett on October 17, 2013, 12:37:09 pm: I really like Garfield, especially the cartoons. The movies seem to miss his personality a bit (in my interpretation of his character) by presenting him as less acerbic, less in control. In the comic strip, he's at the top of the food chain.
