Hi All
I started this topic because I noticed so many Newbies asking how to get started. I hope this helps you all to get a good jump start.
1. Create a separate e-mail just for doing surveys. Gmail is a good way to use different e-mail addresses and still have all mail go to one main e-mail address. Gmail allows you to put periods in between your e-mail address so that it "appears" to be a different e-mail. All mail still goes to the main account. This is a personal preference. You could also just open different e-mail addresses on yahoo, msn or hotmail.
2. Go to www.k7.net and get an internet voicemail number and use this number in your surveys. This way you won't get inundated with phone calls to your home or cell. You could also register your home/cell numbers on the Do Not Call list by going to www.donotcall.gov and registering your numbers. Although this won't stop the first calls made by doing the offers, since you are giving them permission to call when you submit your phone number, but you can then ask to be removed from their phone lists or utilize the Caller ID option that is available on most phones.
3. Go to www.ccleaner.com and download the cleaner to clean your cookies after offers. (They say this helps with getting credited)
4. Get started with the No Credit Card Needed offers. As you get more experienced you might want to try the Free Trials and Credit Card Offers. Keep in mind that with free trials, many of the sponsors will put a hold on your money for a short time, so make sure you have money in your account to cover.
5. Don't do offers more than once. It is against the TOS (terms of service) If an offer does not credit right away you may have to just wait it out.
6. Although many offers say "Instant Credit" on them, they do not all credit instantaneously. Some credit after a few minutes, hours or days. Unfortunatley, some may not credit at all. Don't get frustrated, just keep on going....more credit than do not credit.
7. Remember when doing offers to keep the Welcome, Congratulations and/or Thank You page open for about 15 seconds before closing it out. This allows the cookies time to transmit to FC. Also, wait about 15 seconds more before cleaning cookies.
8. Remember - cashout is at the end of the month and you will be paid on or around the 20th of the following month. (ex. Cashout 10/31 = payment around 11/20).
**********Remember to ALWAYS read the TOS on offers****************
I hope this helps all of you to get started.
Good luck and Welcome to Fusion!!!! :dog:

That was very considerate of you to post, thanks.
-
This helps a lot, thanks!
-
You're both very welcome. :) I'm glad you took the time to read it. I notice many people are still asking for help in other forums, I wish they would read this as well. It may cut down on repetitive threads and they may actually be able to get started!!
Good luck to both of you!!

This is really helpful! This should be sticky'ed :). I had no idea about that phone service so that helps alot.
-
Very helpful TY>>>
-
Howabout for your address? Do you just supply sites with your real address? Do you get spam in the mail?
-
Putting anything BUT real information is considered fraud and your account will be closed immediately.
-
Thanks! This was sooooo helpful! :]
-
Thanks!!!
but i think that some of the offers never give credit because i completed more than 20 offers last night but 8 of them gave me credit eventhough most of them were about 0.50 cents to 2.00 !!! i don't know maybe i have to wait some more time!!!
-
Can anyone tell me if they only do direct deposit or is there other methods they will do?
Thank you in advance for your help.
-
Check, Paypal, and Direct Deposit are the 3 ways you can cash out.
-
5. Don't do offers more than once. It is against the TOS (terms of service) If an offer does not credit right away you may have to just wait it out. If an offer is over $7.00 then after 7 days you can manuualy request the credit. If it is under $7.00 you cannot. Offers disappear from your Offers page AFTER you have been credited.
---------------------
Is this still accurate, because I have been credited for some, and they are all still on the offers page, which makes it hard to go through and choose offers to complete... I think also offers that you haven't recieved credit for, and aren't elidgable for and can't try them again, those should delete from the offers page too so you don't accidentally violate the TOS Am I making sense?

Yes No. 5 is still accurate. Regarding the ones that you say you have been credited for already and are still there, please make sure they are not different offers and just look like the ones you have already done. If they truly are the same then you need to open a support ticket to make admin aware that this is happeningl. They should disappear after crediting.
Regarding the offers that have not credited.....I have asked admin if there was a way to remove them and unfortunately there is not. The best thing to do after you do an offer is to "Mark" it. There is a "Mark" tab over each offer. That should help you from doing offers over again.
-
I agree
-
I wouldn't worry too much about what you have already done. Just be careful from now on. Its the consistency of doing offers over that makes Admin question an account, I think, not the occasional mistake.

ypu can also get a K7 phone number as well I love that service! ;D

This thread definitely deserves bumping. ;D

So, I'm just wondering, does this really work?? Are you really getting your money each month?? What's the average amount you are receiving?? For how many "offers?"

Yes, this really works. Waiting on my third payment right now. Hard to say what the average is as some people don't do the credit card offers, therefore their amounts are lower (which I am one of, but am very happy with what I have made).
Basically, you can make however much you wish, depending on the offers you choose to do.
-
How do you know which offers to "choose?" Which are the best?? How much time do you spend doing these "offers?"
-
How do you know which offers to "choose?" Which are the best?? How much time do you spend doing these "offers?"
First decision you need to make is: Do you want to do Credit Card offers or No Credit Card Needed Offers? Second - the rule on here is only do offers that you are interested in - just in case there is a crediting issue. Meaning, when you do an offer that you are truly interested in and for some reason it does not credit, you still received something for your time and (in the case of credit card offers) your money.
-
Thanks for the info, it was very helpful. However I just wonder if there is something that can be done about some of the free offers that never seem to credit. I mean if we take the time to fill out the info and visit the sites and they dont pay why does Fusion cash continue to promte these. I have completed offers from 8 weeks ago that were not credited and I have read other complaints about them and yet they are still being promoted. Why is this? :dontknow:
-
They approve for some and for some they do not. It's like a luck of the draw thing.
It does help however to wait like a minute before closing a page out after completeting an offer. Closing a page too soon after completeting an offer does not give a site enough time for sending your cookies, therefore, you not being credited. That's why FC asks that you be sure to have cookies enabled before signing in.
Another thing, after waiting for a minute or so & then closing an offer page, clear your cookies. It is always best to do so after completeting each offer. But rule of thumb for every offer is to leave page up for bout a min. before doing so.
Hope this helped.
-
Thanks, I will try this, only thing is they are all the same offers and I can't do them again :crybaby2: But this is a great tip.

Thanks for the info. I have had mine for so long now that I had no idea that was discontinued along with private phone. :sad1:
I'm sure there will be other members stopping by with some suggestions.

I went back into my files, and although I have signed up for this, I have not really tried it yet, but you are welcome to give it a shot.
www.k7.net - I signed up for this one but unfortunately you don't get to choose an area code, it just assigned me a number.
Hope this helps!!

Thanks for making this thread! I sure found it useful!
After doing a Google search for free online phone numbers, I couldn't find a service that would let you use a local number unless you pay for the service. The free service I'm using is www.j2.com and another I found is www.econnect.com. If anyone finds a service that'll give you a free local number, please post it!

hello..this mite be a stupid question but what are the cookies im suppose to delete???
Cookies are files that are placed on your computer from sites you visit. To clean these cookies while doing offers, go to www.ccleaner.com and download the cleaner. It will help you clean cookies faster while doing offers.
If you want to learn more about what cookies are, visit this site: http://www.wisegeek.com/what-are-computer-cookies.htm
Hope this helped.

i noticed some of my offers that have not yet credited now say in how many days before they will , ok i understand we can not do offers more than once so if an offer never credits we just move on right? thank you for your kind words but i do wonder why some free offers do not credit, maybe fusion should not do business with them?
-
another tip you might want to include is to try a different internet browser.
I was having an awful time getting things to credit even though i allowed cookies, deleted cookies, etc.
I downloaded Opera (since I normally use firefox) and now pretty much everything credits. I only use Opera for fusioncash, so I dont have to change any of the settings--i just leave it as it was "out of the box" so to speak. Which is probably why using firefox didnt work, since i have so many addons and everything. :confused1:
those of you who are using ie and having crediting problems might want to try downloading firefox or opera and trying to use that instead :)
-
I use IE & have no problems getting my offers to credit. :dontknow:

This is a great thread and it really helped me a lot.
However I do think that Fusion Cash could be more clear about crediting the offers. I posted a thread a few days ago asking how do I know if I've completed a survey correctly because many of the offers say "Just fill out the survey" yet the surveys seem to go on forever and end up taking me to 6 different websites until I get to the point were I just click out of them.
Then on my offer tracking page it will say "Ineligible for manual credit", but when you click on why it just gives you the same catch all answer system as to why your offer didn't credit. I think if you clicked on the 'WHY?' button and it just told you straight out that you didn't get credit due to you not completing the survey, the cookies didn't work, etc etc it would help a lot of people out.
Also I have some advice about the whole CC offers. It's best to only use your CC for popular corporations like Netflix and Blockbuster. Awhile back my fiance was on a similar site such as this and did a CC offer. All the contact info for a refund was there and they even e-mailed him a cancellation e-mail. Well long story short his card ended up with a lot of misc charges and when he tried to contact the place he always got a recording and all the E-Mails were being returned. Finally he got a hold of someone and you could tell it was just some guy in his house. After arguing with him for almost an hour he got everything settled. So please be wary if you see an offer that says "CRAZY EDDIES LIQUID MIRACLE DIET!" and the company is in a third world country. Lol...

Several of the offers require you to put in the credit card number, and some require you to use it and spend money. Are we required to go through with it to that extent, and if so is there any reimbursement for this. I'm day-one new at this so that's why I'm asking. Thanks!

If you are doing the Free/No CC Needed offers, and you get to the page with the Silver, Gold and Platinum offers requiring you use your Credit Card, then no you do not need to go any further. You have already completed the Sponsor's original offer.

Just wanted to bump this thread because it was oh so helpful to me!

How do I make an Internet Voicemail at k7.com?
Go to www.k7.net and sign up. They will give you a number when you sign up and that's the number you use when filling out the offers.

I just joined so  everyone.
I chose my payment option as check.
Anyone else using this option ??? Having any problems?????
I also do have a paypal account but I do not want my personal bank account to get screwed up for any reason.
Has this happened to anyone?
Any suggestions?
Thanks Y'all
-
I just filled out my first questionairre and waited a minute. I was still on the same page that said "Thanks for your submission". Then I cleaned out my cookies and I it knocked me off of gmail and fushioncash. I had to log back in. What was up with that?

When I first started on here I chose the check option as well. I wanted to "check the site out". I received my check (early as a matter of fact) took it to the bank and cashed it. No problems.
I have since switched my payment method to PayPal. I have never had any problems with it messing up my bank account. I don't transfer to my bank account, tho, I keep it in my PayPal Account and use the PayPal Debit Card.
Hope this helped.
I don't know why you kicked off after doing an offer. I do know that it happens to me sometimes if I have too many browsers open, other than that, I can't explain it, other than it may have just been a fluke. :dontknow:
Oh and, Welcome and Best of Luck to You!

Wow! thanks

if i click on an offer but do not fill it all the way out and click on it at a later date..does that count as 2x therefore getting me kicked out?

Not at all. You can click on an offer as many times as you wish, but you may on complete it once. So if you clicked on it and started to fill it out but didn't complete it, you can go back and complete it. Once you get to the Welcome, Congratulations or Thank You page, then you're done!

i usually get most of my money from referals now if only my PayPal would work... :BangHead:

Don't worry about doing a couple of offers twice. FC realizes that new members sometimes do that by accident, and they are forgiving. :notworthy:
If it becomes habit is when you will hear from Admin.

Hy Thanks Sofar I am liking what I am seeing as far as my earnings are going. I can't wait till I get my first pay out. G_d knows I need the extra $$$$ as does every one these days. The only thing that is ticking me off a bit is there is about $100.00 worth of stuff I still haven't gotten credit for yet. However I have filed a ticket on each one and provide proof of an email shoing I have compleated each offer. So hopfully all of what hasn't been aproved yet will go POP and I will seee a big number soon.

It knocked you off because in order to stay on Fushion and other sites that require cookies you cleared them. Thus, it makes you login again because that cookie for the site is no longer there.. If you use Firefox you can choose not to delete the fushion cash ect. cookies and take off other ones in there.
Oh, and madd4money, thanks for the great tip for k7. I just now did it, and I am glad to say it will come in very handy...lol no running to see who is on the phone rofl.

This is a great and informative thread--thank you! I opened my account today--there are so many offers that I think I accidentally did two of them twice--hope I don't get in trouble for that! I finally printed out my "offer clicks" page so I could double-check to see if I already completed an offer. Probably wouldn't have had that problem if I had gone in order, but that's tough to do when you are working in between house stuff, kid stuff, work stuff, and homeschool stuff!

Don't worry. It happened to many of us when we were new to the site as well. One thing you might want to try is clicking on the MARK tab after you have completed an offer. This will turn the offer green so it will stand out from the offers you have not completed yet.

Thanks a lot, this was very helpful. As a MAC user i found that as far as cookie cleaning goes your best bet (for MACs) is to go with "MainMenu" it's a program for PC a well as MAC and it does everything you need it to and more... It will clear your entire hard drive of all unnecessary data that is taking up valuable space on your computer

Cookies
By Sandy Berger
Cookies — you decide if you want to take a bite. The word "Cookie" has a wholesome, benign connotation, but there are rumors that imply computer cookies are invasive and dangerous. So let's take a look at what a cookie is and investigate both the advantages and disadvantages of cookies.
What is a Cookie?
Cookies are employed when you use your browser to visit web sites on the Internet. The two main browsers, Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator, both allow the use of cookies. Cookie files allow a web server to store information about you on your computer, and to retrieve that information to identify you in the future. A cookie is a tiny piece of text that is placed on your hard drive. Its job is to record bits of information such as the pages you've visited, items you've put into an online shopping cart, your user name and password.
Practical Uses for Cookies
Cookies were created to maintain user information and to customize web sites. In many cases, they make it easier to navigate and use the Internet. For instance, upon your first visit to a site you are often asked to register by giving your name and a password for access to that site. The site will then place a cookie on your hard drive, which contains that information. When you return to that site, the cookie is retrieved and read and the web site "recognizes" you as an authorized guest. This means that you only have to register once, instead of having to enter information every time you access the site.
Because cookies allow a site to know who you are, they can customize information for you. It's like having a door attendant recognize you, greet you by name, and ask about your family. Or like going into a store where the salesperson knows you personally and knows your preferences so he or she is able to present you with customized merchandise in order to make your shopping easier.
What Information can a Cookie Extract?
Cookies cannot be used to get data or view data off your hard drive. Cookies do not give anyone access to your computer or any personal information about you unless you have given that information to the web site by answering questions or filling in a form. For example, the site cannot determine your e-mail name or your address unless you gave it to them. Cookies cannot give your computer a virus. Allowing a web site to create a cookie does not give that or any other site access to the rest of your computer. Only the site that created the cookie can read it. And yet, cookies have a very bad reputation.
Loss of Privacy
The reason that cookies have gotten so much bad press recently is that cookies represent a potential loss of privacy. Cookies, by design are meant to work invisibly. They are used to track people and their activities and that makes many people uncomfortable.
Cookies can potentially be used to build detailed profiles of your interests, spending habits and lifestyle. An innocent use of this information might be to target advertising campaigns to specific groups or individuals. However, it is scary to contemplate the fact that some individual or group might be able to accumulate information about our private activities and personal preferences. There is a possibility that some unscrupulous group could potentially accumulate such information and sell it to companies to be used for their own purposes.
Cookies are like a personal tag or tracer. Some people see this as the most invasive of privacy. However, you must realize that every time you log on to a web site you give away a lot of information. Any web site that you visit can determine your:
- Service provider
- Operating System
- Browser type
- CPU type
- IP address
Cookie Use is Something to Ponder
The main concern about cookies is that they work without anyone's knowledge or permission. Some people consider the use of this information harmless, but some find the gathering of information in this manner invasive to their privacy. I, personally, do not mind the use of cookies, but I fear that this loss of privacy, however small, may lead to more loss of privacy as technology continues its onward march into our lives.
Understanding Cookies
By Sandy Berger
If you are concerned about accepting cookies, you can change the settings in your browser regarding cookies. Look through the menus and find the "Preference" or "Options" choice to change the setting. Most versions of Netscape Navigator and older versions of Internet Explorer have three different settings. You can disable all cookies, accept all cookies, or have the browser warn you before accepting a cookie.
Newer versions of Internet Explorer, like Version 5.0 and 6.0 go one step further. They allow you to specify different settings for different security zones. For example, you might want to allow Web sites to create cookies if they are in your Trusted sites, but prompt you before creating cookies if they are in your Internet zone, and never allow cookies if they are in your Restricted sites zone. While this approach is more complicated for the end user, it does give you more control over the use of cookies. So if you are concerned about cookies, using one of these newer browser versions may be helpful to you.
How to Delete Cookies
You can also delete all of the cookie files that are already on your hard disk. In most versions of Windows, the cookies are found in a folder titles Cookies inside the Windows folder. If you are using Windows XP you will find the Cookies folder in the main hard drive, usually C: inside of the Documents and Settings folder, inside of a folder with the user's name.
Most versions of Netscape keep cookies in a file in the Netscape folder called cookies.txt or magiccookie on the Mac. This file is where all the cookie entries are found. You can delete the contents of this file regardless of the warning at the top of the page. If you cannot find the cookie files or folders use the find or search option on the Start Button in Windows or use Finder on the Mac to locate the files. Just search for files/folders named Cookie.
Once you have found the Cookie folder, you can delete everything in the cookie folder without harming anything else in your computer. Be advised though, that if you delete all the cookies, no Web site will remember who you are and you may have to re-enter name password, and other information. This can be especially problematic for Web sites where you may do banking or investments since you may have to re-enter account numbers as well as simple name/password information.
Many, many Web sites are using cookies today. If you want to see just how many cookies are being used, set your browser to warn you before cookies are set. I guarantee you that you will quickly tire of seeing these notices. Also, be advised that if you refuse to accept cookies, some sites will not allow you access.
Using Software to Stop Cookies
If you are really concerned about cookies you can stop them with software made especially for that purpose. A few of the good cookie gobbling programs available are: Cookie Cruncher, Cookie Cutter, and PGPcookie.cutter.

First i would like to say hello..
i found this site because i play a game on myspace called mafia wars and was looking at youtube and found someone that said if i sign up here ill get 1000 GF points. ok i think that was bs but i liked what i seen here so im going to give it a shot.
WOW alot to read but all helpful great job on helping the newbies who are just starting out.
ok some questions
1) gmail never used it dont know why but my question 1. You could also just open different e-mail addresses on yahoo, msn or hotmail.
im not sure i get this... if my e-mail is email@gmail.com so to make it look different i would do like this e.mail@gmail.com / e.m.a.i.l@gmail.com??
2) do i have to get the $25 each month or is it ok if it takes me 3 months just to get there and cash out? can i wait till its $100 to cashout?
thank you all for the help!
-
u dont have to cashout every month but after 180 days your money will expire (i think) thats what i read on here somewhere.. :notworthy:

hi just wanted to say thanks for the helpful post, today is my first day!
-
Thanks for the help ! I didn't even know about the phone number thing. ;D
-
i really wish i would have read this thread before i got started. i didn't even think to start another email account, and had no idea there was a website that could offer answering services. i'm sifting through so much junk mail on my regular email account, and hanging up on so many telemarketers on a daily basis, it's driving me crazy! hopefully i haven't done so many offers that it's caused irreversible. i'm just going to continue telling the telemarketers to delete my number, and making my junk mail filter stronger, and hopefully that does the trick. i don't want to have to change my number and get a new email...i've had both for years and years.
-
thank you for this advice it really helped me. Bye ;)
-
Wow, wish Ir ead this one a long time ago
-
I need some clarification. I did a survey site before my son was born and haven't been back in more than a year. Anyhow, I'm SURE they let us try an offer more than once if it did not credit. They would take it out of pending and back into the regular section. We could never do it twice if we were paid but were allowed to try again after a waiting period. Any number of things could have gone wrong such as cookie settings or browser problems in the course of doing an offer.
Also isn't there a pending or waiting file to show you what offers you have done? Are we supposed to keep a list of all offers or is there an automated feature we can check?
-
Thank you, this was helpful I'm a newbie :D
-
Thanks a lot for the tips, I will try to follow them all
-
Rock on! Thanks for the tips!
-
that is an awesome post you onviously put much thought into. Thank you!
-
Awesome post, I too wish I had read this first or was a sticky at the top of this forum so that we all saw it when we started. It's really helpful, thanks a lot for the time and energy you put into posting the info.
-
thanks man for telling me how to get started. this really helped me and will help me in the future so thanks man.
-
Thankyou!!!
-
I dont understand. You have to complete offers that want you to complete more offers?
-
Thanks so much all the information it was very helpful because I didn't know where to begin.
Satified :)
-
I really appreciate that thank you. I am new to this and I didn't even know how to post blogs until now. :)
-
That was very considerate of you to post, thanks.
:notworthy: you are great for helping!! I've found that as soon as i became patient, because sometimes instant credit doesn't neccesarily mean instant, that i began being approved. Usually I'm surprised every morning when I log on about an offer I had given up on. Thankyou
-
I dont understand. You have to complete offers that want you to complete more offers?
just read the requirements for the offer crediting....
sometimes its as easy as just entering in your e-mail and confirming....
other times you have to "qualify" for a panel....
-
I am a newbie and this is my first post. I am not sure how to post on other topics yet but am trying to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated. ???
-

can anyone help me figure out how to find REPLYS to POSTS I made in the FORUM. I keep typing my NAME in the SEARCH BOX but nothing comes up. I can only seem to POST but NOT find REPLIES. (ps I hope I will be able to locate your REPLY...I honestly dont know how to use this forum. I submitted a request to SUPPORT but again...I can't figure out how to read the replies. thanks
-
i completed probably 7 offers 2day and only got 3 confirmed, it starts to get frustrating. And it feels like you waisted your time. Hopefully they get confirmed.
-
On the list in your offers clicked, the ones that say not credited, does that mean they will be credited eventually or is this just the ones you click even if you did not qualify?
-
Thank you for the help
-
bmn
-
I would like to say thank-you too. I am new and this is helpful info
-
How do you find out all of the ranks and the numbers you need to get to those ranks?
-
This was really helpful, thanks. I think a few times I closed the window too fast at the end of an offer.
-
Every new member should be required to read this. It is very helpful. Wish I had seen it before beginning, would have had lots more success initially!
Thanks for putting it out there, hopefully people will take the advice!
-
Very helpful. Thanks!
