I'd like to know what everyone thinks about electronic cigarettes. It seems to be another billion dollar industry for big tobacco.
I worry about the people who feel that sucking on those vapor sticks is better for them than smoking regular cigarettes.
I've tried researching this online and it appears to me that they're really no better for you than smoking real cigarettes.
In my opinion, they are just another addiction.
What are your thoughts? :dontknow: I'd really like some input on this subject.

They're not supposed to be better than regular cigarettes for the user. They're better for those around a smoker because it only lets off water vapor.
Adults make decisions as to whether to smoke or not. It's not possible to not know the affects of smoking by now. If someone still chooses to make that choice, that's their business. I happen to think smoking is the dumbest thing to do, but, it's not my choice to make for anyone else.

Well I do know that they had ads out for quite some time that you could smoke them in otherwise restricted areas. Don't try that by the way...I saw a fella get kicked off his bus route for that. I haven't tried them myself so I couldn't say if they were better or not.

I don't support smoking at all, but at least electronic cigarettes don't affect others as much. They are better than regular cigarettes in the sense that they don't really bother people. In a way, those who choose to smoke are forcing those who do not want to smoke to inhale second-hand smoke. With an electronic cigarette, that problem is reduced.
