Please, please pray for my step-dad. He just went into ICU and they had to vent him. His blood pressure keeps dropping. The doctors are not optimistic, but may be with prayers?? Thank you

How old is he Nancy?Bible says some are more mighty than others.Hopefully he gets good care,is one of the mighty ones and prayers help.

Thank you everyone. Left hospital, not doing good, they expect him to die by Monday at the latest. /Might be tonight, blood pressure is in the 60s and organs slowly starting to shut down. Please keep praying.

My uncle, who is a lot like my second dad was admitted to the ICU last week and they just kept him there for a long time. They weren't curing him. He has diabetes so he doesn't wanna take insulin because it lowers your blood sugar by a lot. And the nurse just gave him insulin without telling him. Then his blood sugar went below 40 and the nurse kept making him eat jello. He didn't wanna take it because it was the nurse's fault in the first place when he refused it. He was in the ICU for five days and they still haven't doesn't anything but perform tests and tell him that they found this and that. He's finally out and he has to come back to get an operation then a heart surgery a few weeks after.
So I know how you feel.
I pray that the Lord will grant him a good amount of healing for him and recover. If possible, if he's able to eat, perhaps natural remedies is good.
My dad has diabetes too and his medicine doesn't work because he drinks a lot. So the alcohol interferes with the medicine. So I had him juice bitter melon and he says it works. Cause it goes straight to his system.
I also read that the bitter melon cleanses the blood system so perhaps it would work for your Dad.

Sorry for the loss Nancy..death truly an enemy of mankind.Bible holds out a hope to see loved ones again with a resurrection.Certainly a hope that defeats the machinations of the devil.Be strong and have faith and lean on your loved ones.

I will pray for healing for him and for comfort and peace for you and his other family members. Prayers are mighty and effective but we also need to be open to God's will in any situation.

Your stepdad and your family are in my prayers.. Keep positive and know that He is almighty and trust Him and not worry about what the doctors say.
