Are you a lefty or a righty? What hand do you write with? If you are ambidextrous, what hand do you write with most often? Also, is the hand you write with, the same one you throw with?

I am a right handed person and I throw with a right hand as well. Its awesome to be able to do it with both.

my dominate hand is right--but i broke my right wrist once and had to learn to use my left and i can if need be but its hard and my writing is a mess--

I'm a lefty and yes its the hand I throw with.

I write left-handed; play golf right-handed.
Probably throw right-handed, but haven't do that in some time so who knows.
I use my right hand to control my computer mouse.

i am right handed..i can write a little with my left hand..only because my youngest grannddaughter is left handed and she wanted me to try to write like her one day..so we do it every so often.she will try the right hand and me the left hand

I'm right handed and do everything with my right hand. My son is left handed and he does everything with his left hand. After I answered this question. Well I watched my kid and I found that he eats with both hands(holds spoon or fork) but writes and everything else with his left hand.

I am right-handed. I use my right hand to write, and also to eat but will sometimes use my left hand for things I don't use a fork or spoon for like pizza or fries.

I think I would have been left handed since most of my family is, but I was only born with one hand and it was the right so by default that makes me right handed :)

I'm left handed. I use my left hand all the time. I do use my computer mouse with my right hand. If I had it set up for a leftie my dh would not be too happy.

For the most part I am right handed with a few exceptions that I can only seem to do left handed

I am one of three people (my understanding is that my late grandfather and my aunt in Cleveland are left-handed) in my family that is left handed. I discovered that my husband is also left-handed. I think that's cool. I like the fact that that one aspect separates me from my sisters and brother. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :highfive:

I'm right handed in most things but play cards left handed and a few other things as well. Surely can't write left handed though.

I'm a righty but because my dad is a lefty I can also write with my left. My left does seem to be the stronger of the two specially since it is the hand I hold my decorating bags with most.

I do everything with my right hand like most people, but have always wondered what it must be like to be reflexive left hander. I can use my left hand consciously, but its not automatic.

My son is ambidextrous, he can write with both hands, throws better right, bats left, and golfs left

right handed, but I am some proficiency with my left hand as well since both parents and both older sisters were left handed the school system trid to start me off left hand but I was really a righty all along.

I'm right handed but i did break my right hand my sophmore year of highschool and ended up having to try and wright left handed for about 4 months never got the hang of it. :P

I'm right handed, my left hand is so uncorridnated i tried learning how to write with it but just didnt work o well good thing for the right one! :P

I basically consider myself left-handed, as I write and eat with my left hand, but in reality I'm closer to being ambidextrous. I tend to do fine things with my left hand (writing, eating, precision painting), but course things with my right hand (throwing, cutting with scissors).
I golf right, bat right, bowl right.
I brush my hair with both, paint with a large brush or roller with both, hammer and use an ax with both.
I'm still kicking myself for not learning to write Russian with my right hand. That would have been so cool to write English with my left, and then Russian with my right. ;D

I'd love to be ambidextrous though! Using my left hand feels so awkward though...

Not that it makes much of a difference but I can use both of my hands equally. I am what you would call ambidextrous.

I'm always write with my right hand. But doing most of my work on my left. I think I'm left handed more than right.

I am right handed, and really wonder when I see people write fluently with their left hands. When do kids learn, which is their dominant hand?

I am right handed. I write, throw and do most things with my right hand. However, my husband is left handed. He does most things with his left hand but can do them equally with his right hand. :)

I am very definitely left-handed. I can write (sort-of) with my right hand, because I practiced a lot, so I can eat and write at the same time (I like doing crosswords while I eat lunch!) I also use the computer mouse with my right hand. But I do everything else left-handed.

I am right-handed all the way. If something ever happened to my right hand, I would be in trouble as my left hand is weak.

Right handed for sure, although there are several things I do better with my left hand and it's automatic for me to do this left handed. I don't know why, it just is. Some of those things are texting, smoking,( I know that's bad for your health) but it is what it is so....and holding a book while reading. Sounds dumb but, itis what it is :P

Actually that is a myth. The articles published back in the 80's and early 90's that started the myth was based on very poor scientific method, and the results have long since been debunked.

I am mostly right handed. When I play sports I used my left hand a lot like bowling, basketball, batting, etc. But my youngest son is a whole different story. He writes and eat with his left hand but throws and bats right hand. He strums the guitar with his left hand. I have never seen anything like it.

I am right handed. Although I cut my meat with my left hand. Thats how I learned how.

I am a left hander for 95% of activities. However, when I play baseball I throw left handed and bat right handed.

I'm right-handed are so is everyone else in my family. But, we have a granddaughter that seems to be able to color with both hands. Not sure at what age they for sure get settled on one hand or the other but she's almost 3 yrs old and really thought it was younger than that but time will tell. lol

Ambidextrous here. I alternate hands depending on what I'm doing. I play guitar left handed brush my teeth right handed. Eat left handed, bat right handed. When I'm working with numbers I use my left hand, if I need to write really fast I use my right hand. I'm really weird when it comes to which hand I use. Lol

I am right handed but have had elbow and shoulder injuries so I do some things with my left hand, depending on the situation. I always use my right hand to write and throw though.

Right handed. I'm very clumsy with my left hand. I am married to a lefty, though. I have to make sure we are sitting in the correct places when we go out to eat or we will be bumping eating arms all evening.

I'm right-handed but my son is left-handed. I don't know if it's genetic or not when a person is right or left-handed but I do think genetics play a part!!

I am right-handed, but I have recently found out that I can use my left hand to eat with. But, most of the time I just use my right hand for everything.

I am right handed, my husband is lefted handed and I can really see the difference in how we do some things from where he likes to place the dish rack on the opposite side of the counter than where I like to place it. :heart:

Well when I was in grammar school I was left-handed until I had a teacher who made me do my work right-handed so I stayed right-handed until I was a senior in high school when I broke my right-wrist and then use my left hand to do my school work. So you might say that I am both. I use my right hand for documents and my left for drawings, puzzles and anything that is fun and relaxing.

Right-handed all the way. I keep trying to teach myself to do things with my left hand but I haven't really made much progress cause I tend to just want to get it over with. The only thing that's odd with my is I will open a pop can with my left hand, don't know why. Everything else I do with my right hand but that will naturally be opened with my left.

I am a "lefty" and I wright with my left, but I am able to do most other things with both hands. Being the only lefty in my family I had to learn any way I could and some things I adapted to with left hand, but others I did with my right.

I'm left-handed when it comes to writing and ambidextrious in most sports related activities. For example, I throw with my left and bat right handed in baseball, I dribble with my left and shoot with my right in basketball and I golf both left and right handed. We live in a right handed world and I've had to learn to use a lot of right handed devices such as a scissors.
