Have you had your phone for a while? Do you turn your phone off to pick up new cell tower signals? It is reccomended to turn your phone off at least once a month for 10-30 minutes to pick up new tower signals. It could also be the weather or upgrades in your area you want to talk to your phone company about that. If everything else is good then i would consider looking into your coverage area on your phone network to make sure you get reliable signal in your area. Otherwise i'd call the phone company and explain what is going on with your phone. Also if you have had your phone for a while another issue could be the battery. Hope your problem get's resolved soon.

Check for apps running in the background (cell phones are good for this) and turn them off.

You have to clear out your history just like you do on a computer.....that will help speed it back up as well....
