i own my car i hate the buses or cabs i don't no what i would do with out my car
-
I have a car. Where we live, we don't have buses, just school buses.
-
I have my own car. Our town is small, so we do not have buses. Their is only a couple of cab companies and you don't want to ride in either of them.
-
I grew up taking the bus and I can tell you it sucked big time especially when you have to deal with unsavory people at bus stops and on the bus. :(
I have never taken my cars for granted :)
-
I have a car and very happy since the nearest bus stop is a mile away.
-
drive a ford focus
-
I own a pickup truck. No buses where I live.
-
I own a car but I live in a city where public transportation is an absolute joke.
-
I own my car too, but for a while I use to take the bus.
-
Definitely a car because the buses take forever to arrive at the bus stops.
-
We live in a rural area and have no bus service. We own a Mustang, a Fusion and an F150. (We park the Mustang during the winter)
-
I own a car.
-
I take the bus. :-\ but only to school and back . thank goodness!! lol
-
A car is a necessity and not a luxury. I see people standing at the bus stops in this cold weather and that is hard.
-
Yes I own my own car and when it is at the shop I hate having to depend on other ppl to come pick me up. I usually try to schedule repair work to be done around my schedule.
-
I own a car, and I thank Jesus for it every day!
-
LONG SIGH... I had transportation but the dashboard stopped working and the serpentine belt went so I am now back to walking and public transportation now and its cold out but this is temporary!! I rode the bus and trains for many years (grew up in the city and suburbs) so I'm ok for now.... but oh how i can't wait to get a new ride!!!!
-
I own a car, and I thank Jesus for it every day!
I now own a car and just like you I give THANKS every day for it. I used public transportation for several years and hated every second of it. I hated getting up and having to leave 3 to 4 hours early and hoped that I'd get to work on time. Then during holidays when the system wasn't running I'd have to worry about getting to work at all. Taxi service has gotten to where it cost a small fortune. I just dislike having to be at someone else's mercy to get to work. When the weather is bad, you got to try and maintain. The city bus system really sucks here, schedules are not on time and if the weather gets really cold then the buses may not run at all. I am so thankful for the blessing of having my own car now.
-
I'm not on a bus route so am grateful to have my car. Don't know what I would do without it :o
-
I do not own a car, but hope to one day so I won't have to rely on a bus.
-
I don't ride the bus anymore. It takes forever to get to where I wanted to go. I have a car now but for a while I didn't have one. But it's always good to carpool with someone so you can save on money and gas.
-
i live in rural small town area, there are no buses. :rose:
-
I own a car an   it The pubic transportation in this area is just not very good. It takes you a long time to get anywhere. They have been improving it a lot the last couple of years.
-
Where I live you need a car, we have buses and cabs, but I have a car
-
8) I have a car that isn't running and so I ride a shuttle for the disabled. I hate it in a lot of ways and it is a pain to schedule trips but I can't afford right now to get the car fixed, can't afford upkeep and insurance right now and so this is better than nothing although it very much restricts where and when I can go but I try to be thankful because I live way out in the boonies.
-
i own my car i hate the buses or cabs i don't no what i would do with out my car
i take the bus bease i wont 2 not becase i need 2
-
Yes even when I had my own transportation I took the bus or train every now and then. And it is nice to sit back while someone else drives :)
-
I walk ... in Oklahoma City, that means I pretty-much don't go anywhere if I need to be on-time :bad:
-
I own a car. We are small town USA....no buses.
-
I don't own a car, I get the bus every where I have to go.
-
hate busses, trains, etc. gotta, just gotta have my truck to be free! :notworthy:
-
i used to own my own car however after the birth of my child i ended up having a lot of issues with anxiety while driving so i sold my car. my husband has his car and i just wait to go places when he gets home and then he will just drive me. i still get really anxious even when he is driving but at least i dont have as much pressure as when i would drive. not only that but it saves us a ton of money on gas maintenance taxes and insurance.
-
We went down to one car a long time ago to save money on excise taxes, insurance, and registration.
It can be challenging to work it out, but it was much easier when I lived in a city that had great public transportation. There used to be a bus stop only one block from my house, and I loved taking public transportation.
Where we live now, there is no public transportation at all, and I find it really confining.
-
I have my car and my husband has his. But if we should get another car my teenager will get mine. But not until she can pay for the insurance.
-
my engine died. pick and pull paid 263 for the car.
-
I have a car. There isn't any public transportation out here.
-
i own my car i hate the buses or cabs i don't no what i would do with out my car
I always have to take the bus
-
I don't have a car so when i go out I take the trolley n train. However i do have a friend with a car so sometimes i ride in his car.
-
I own our car. Sometimes I take the bus to teach my son how to pay fare on a bus and how to ride the bus, like sit down in a open seat and make sure you know how to get off where you need to. One day he may need this service and want him to be prepared.
-

Free & lazy :-[
I have a car. There isn't any public transportation out here.
Walking is good for you.
That's why America is such a fat & lazy nation; because we won't go anywhere if it means we have to USE any of that energy before it settles down into our rump!
-
I have a car. The last time I rode a bus was when my brother and I used to ride the bus to town to hang out with Mother while she was working at a shoe store. That was back in the 1960s.
-
I own a vehicle and use this pretty much everyday. However, as to work I also rotate between the car, subway system and the bus depending on where I need to go.
-
I own a car. But I use public transportation when I go to work.
-
u are smart to stay with ur car if u us the bus u have to wate on thire time to go where u nead to go.
-
I grew up having to depend on the city buses for most of my transportation, so I really appreciate having my own car as an adult.
-
I don't own a car but I contribute toward the car bill and have regular access to a car.
-
I don't have a car, but I share a car with our family member. Never have to take a bus in my life.
-
we own a truck i could never afford a taxi
-
We have a car there are no buses here.
-
I do not own a car of my own, but I live with my parents and they let me use their cars whenever I need to. Especially when I need to go to school. I am going to college in town, and my parents have always let me use their cars when I need to.
-
I own a car. But, I can definitely remember the days when I did not have a car, and the bus was the primary means of transportation. When we first got married, the bus was our thing. My wife and I really enjoyed riding the bus. It seemed like it turned into an adventure at times. Every now and ten we would take a cab, but that was more expensive than the bus. Anyhow, it's been a long time since we had to depend on bus transportation. Thank God for our car!
-
I hate busses to. I own a 2008 passion for 2 convertible smart car made by Mercedes. I love my car!!!
-
I don't own a car, but ride the bus or train wherever I need to get somewhere.
-
@ home I have to drive because I live in a small town. @ school I take the bus and walk
-
I dont have a car nor a license so bus it is. its a good thing i live in nyc
-
I have a car. The bus system is almost nonexistent around my area.
-
Agree, busses hard to come by over here - so depend on my trusty truck! :highfive:
-
They need to have public-transportation that's automatic ... you need to go somewhere, you hop on the conveyor-belt & hop off when you get where you're going (maybe switching between several belts on the way there) :bootyshake:
-
own a car
-
I own a car but I guess this question might depend on where we live. In the long run owning my own car is certainly cheaper than the alternative.
-
I have a car.
-
I own my own car. But I mostly walk to work...a lot of places are within walking distance..like 10-15 min. My hubby mostly uses the car.
-
Own a car.
-
oi own a truck...I took the bus a few times though! :clover:
-
i have my own car....i live too far out in the country to ride the bus :(
-
own a car ~ I'd have to walk 15 miles to catch a bus where I live.
-
i own my car i hate the buses or cabs i don't no what i would do with out my car
I live rural and don't have bus service. I definitely could not visit my hubby in the hospital if I did not have a vehicle. Could not exist out here without one. I do like to take the bus for trips into the city because of traffic and parking. It is a lot cheaper and more relaxing to let someone else do the driving. I want to try out the rail system in Big D next time I get a chance.

-

-
I have my own car. I have never had to take a bus or other public transportation.
-
I own a car but I never drive it. I walk to most places in my town, and take a train or bus when I have to go out of state. My husband drives me to places I have to go to in nearby towns, like doctor and dentist appointments. I have been going without a car for about 6 years now and feel great about going green like this, plus I get a lot more exercise this way.
:monkey:
-
I own a car. I can't even tell what it cost to take a bus since my son and I took one last year. That was our first time in 3 years. His first in his 10 yrs of life. Most of the stores we shop are in walking distance so we have not had to take a bus except that 1 time.
-
I share a car with my sisters, but one day I'll get my own. Saving for one now.
-
I am thankful that I have a car. I don't drive, so others are kind and gracious enough to transport me in my car. I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
-
I have only ever taken a public bus once and a cab maybe 5 times. I like my car.
-
I have my own car. I have taken a bus once or twice and I took the path and subways when I went into the city but I don't know what I would do without my car
-
I have my own car so I rather drive a car. I don't think I can take the bus anymore I don't know how to. I would get lost because I don't understand the routes. It also feels much safer to me as well because I am by myself in my car not worrying about strangers. Sometimes the bus can be scary because people get on it and are so negative towards eachothers.
-
I own a car. We don't have buses and cabs in our place. It would be nice if there is though save some gas.
-
I own a car, because I do not want to wait fro a bus.
-
I own a pickup truck. No buses where I live.
-
I own a car. Thankfully I don't have to drive very much since I am not working a lot anymore. and Gas prices are terrible. But if I could ride the bus to somewhere in my town and save gas,,,, I would do it. Our city bus doesn't come into my litle town anymore but If you call them will come and pick you up. :) :) :)
-
Don't you all ever walk?!
-
I don't know how my astro van is still running... Lol it is a 94
-
Car. I live in sub-urban where there is no public transportation.
Car is really helpful since I also have 3 little kids.
-
Is anybody counting 'how much of one' and 'how much of the other'? ... I realize I'M NOT; but somebody ought to!
-
I have. A 2008 passion for two convertable smart car by Mercedes
-
Fortunately for me I drive and do not have to take the bus. Having a car just make it more convenient for me to get from point A to point B.
-
I have a car with 270,000 miles on it.
-
i live in the suburbs, so i have my own car to get around
-
I own a truck. Cars have never made me feel safe & i always felt small in them when ever i drove them
-
I own a car and usually use that to drive around. When I visit my boyfriend, he lives in a more urban area so we usually walk/take public transport.
-
I own a car... Where i live you dont really have the option for public transportation so unless you car pool you need a car around here.
-
I own a car and use it to go most places. I'm not one for taking the bus or other transportation not unless it's absolutely necessary. ;)
-
Nobody walks....or takes the bus, in L A
I have a car.
-
I don't have a car. I don't go out offend so when I go out something my family member will drive me sometime on the weekend.
-
I have my own car but ppl drive me around I too hate taking the bus.
-
I live in the country now so I need a car. When I lived in the city I would catch the bus sometimes. The only thing I
didn't like about taking the bus was loud people. I'd put my earplugs in and just listen to my music.
-
I live in a pretty large city and use the bus only if I need to go downtown. There is no parking there and it is silly not to use the bus system to go there. However, other than providing good access to the central city, the bus system is horrible in most other ways. So I drive my car most of the time.
-
own a ford focus
-
i own my car i hate the buses or cabs i don't no what i would do with out my car
Living in a small town, a bus is not even an option. Without my car I would do a lot of walking.
-
Need a car in the big city, but to go downtown to an event it is good to take the buses.
-
I own a car because where I live the "public" transportation is slow and limited and because of the temps (southwest) a person could die just walking outside in the summer heat!!!!!!
-
I currently ride a shuttle that you have to be disabled to ride - they come to my house and pick me up and take me where I want to go but it does cost money, it limits the hours you can travel and I appreciate it but I miss having my own car. Things will get better for me though and I believe one day I will have a car again and little mama will be going when and where she wants. :peace:
-
I have a car.
There is no bus service in my town.
-
I own a car and cant be without it
-
I own a car.
-
i dont have a car,and i love to have one of this day.
-
I own a car and use it instead of public transportation.
If there were buses that went where I wanted to go, I'd use them -- but they don't so I don't either. If I ever have to give up driving my own car, I'd hire a taxi.
-
Own a car not great but better than bus transport!I live on the edge of the state so not close enough to the city, that a bus system is viable & taxi's are so expensive! So, thankyou, old broken down Toyota rav4 car 4 carting my butt around!
-
I live in a rural area so I have to have my own car! There is no bus service here; I have no choice! ::)
-
If I lived in a bigger city with decent city transportation I would think about taking the bus, but I have my own automobiles
-
Thankfully I have a truck. I have had to catch the bus a few times years ago and it sucks.
