Did you know if you shop at kroger and get a total of 100 points, you
Will get .10 cents off per gallon in gas. My total
After the 10 cents off was $2.99. I was so happy to be under
$3.00. All the point information is on your grocery receipt.

I like the concept of saving money I really do.. But to me the savings on gas is not worth it unless you actually live next to one of those gas stations that they accept the gas points thing.. Here i would have to drive more than the amount i'm saving to get the gas.. So to me it's not worth it.. But the concept is nice : )

Yes here in California it is a Ralph's reward card and a Food 4 Less card. I have been a member of Ralphs for over 19 years now. Yet the gas loyalty has been around for about 7 years. I love it and I also get rewarded on my cell phone from Iwireless. They also have coupons you can have added to your card from their website. No more clipping.
 ;D

I'm a big Kroger reward fan. I purchased gift cards last week while they were giving 4x the bonus points plus I had extra bonus points coupons to use for gift card purchases through another fun site. I filled up yesterday and got $1.05 off per gallon! I squeezed as much as I could into my tank! I wish I had some empty gas cans with me!!

Ralph's is a subsidiary of Kroger.

I believe Dillon's also is a part of the Kroger chain. Wish they had one of any of those stores in my town. The closest is two hours away so I cannot get there often and then only when I am in that city for multiple destinations.

Yeah, you do get a gas discount using your Kroger card, but I believe the points expire if you don't use them by a certain time and also I believe that if you have a big SUV you can't fill the tank up. So make sure that you find out if there is an expiration and a limit. Wish I lived near a Kroger.

Never used the card for gas, but I will start.

Grocery store 'loyalty cards' from most of the large chains. Kroger included, seem to be very worthwhile with very little 'downside' to them. About the only negative is that using these cards tell the retailer exactly what you buy, and in the 'conspiracy theorist' scenario that info could be used by the government to all manner of ills, like denying one certain health care services if it were determined that what one ate contributed to whatever malady that needed medical attention. Yeah, big whoop, just don't use your real name when applying for a loyalty card~ :)
Other than the tin-foil hat thinking, I think people can pretty much be assured that they will save about 10% off their normal grocery purchases. ;D

You basically need a loyalty card because the "regular" prices are ridiculous.

I love the extra fuel discount. Even for premium gas I was under $3.00 a gallon last week. Of course, I remember that not that long ago it was like $1 a gallon. lol.

is this a fusion offer?

Been a member for several years, but never used the points to buy gas. Never thought about it.

You just have to scan your Kroger card to get at least $0.06 off per gallon. For each $100 increments that you have spent in Kroger, you get $0.10 off per gallon.

Unfortunately, no.

We have a Kroger's account and the reciprocal gas station is only a block away so we are quite fortunate. We are a three family car going through about one hundred and fifty gallons of gas a month so that is at least fifteen dollars in savings. In addition my daughter plays competitive soccer. We purchased a gift card from the soccer team's administration. Every time we use the card my daughter's soccer account get's four percent deposited back in her account. We buy about four hundred dollars worth of groceries per month which puts about twenty dollars back or two hundred and forty dollars per year-we get one of her tournaments paid for!

I have a Kroger card but we don't have Kroger where I live. lol I used to live somewhere with Krogers. But BI-LO does the same thing at the same rate.
