I love eggnog. I have never had homemade eggnog though. I have also never had it with alcohol. Feel free to share your recipes here!

I've never tried homemade eggnog, but I don't really care much for it anyway. I do make wassail for my son over Christmas.
He asked me what it was one year when he heard a song that told about people going wassailing. ::)
I looked up a recipe and made it for him to try per his request.
He loves it and now I make it ever year just for him. Instant tradition! ;)

I'm not a eggnog fan,, but if I had a really good receipe fjor some I would love to give it a try again :)

I don't drink a lot of eggnog at holidays. It's been years since I've had homemade egg nog. I usually get the box from the grocery store (I like the Silk egg nog-very good). But I've had the egg nog at the liquor store and Ididn't really like that. I'd prefer non-alcoholic egg nog.

I love eggnog. I can hardly wait till Christmas gets here so I can have some. I buy 1 gallon every year. I drink about a quart all by my self. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I have always loved eggnog.
When I was younger I would drink it every chance I got.
Now i can only have a small glass. It is very delicious but very heavy.
I don't drink so I have never added alcohol :wave:

I don't like eggnog that's store bought....my aunt once made some that was delicious and it had alcohol.....

I used to make it all the time when i lived on the farm. We had milk cows and chickens so had plenty of good cream and eggs. for my self i never really liked it. It wa stoo sweet for me. My family liked it though. Some would put liquor in it, but all the kids in the family drank it just plain. I usually made about 3 gallons for family gatherings.

I love eggnog. I could drink a quart every day. But, since it has approximately 3000 calories per ounce, I only drink one-half cup a year. I find that depressing.

I also really love eggnog and I have also never had it with alcohol!! I would imagine that it probabally would taste good with some in it

I have never been a big fan off eggnog, and it seems a bit pricey to me. I saw it in a 1/2 gallon container and it was almost $5, so I skipped it.

Lol, I hear you. I have to stop myself from buying it until Christmas. This year it was out in October! do you know how much weight I would gain if I started on it that early, lol?

We love eggnog. The calories are high so my son who is skinny and works hard drinks it anytime he can. :in-love:

I love eggnog and I usually only buy it around Christmas. I have only had the non-alcoholic kind, though. Also, I have never had homemade eggnog, either. I may have to try making some next year for Christmas.

I love Eggnog but my waistline does not! I am sure I will have some with a touch of rum. Happy Holidays! Looking forward to my hubby getting out of the hospital for Chrristmas.

I love eggnog! But for years I couldn't drink it and the reason is because years before that we had spiked it. We put alcohol in it and it was good.....for awhile. Probably drank too much but the next year I wanted nothing to do with it. It kinda ruined it for me. That's been years and I don't drink any more and I can now drink it. So be careful if you choose to mix it with alcohol! :D

My mother used to make "nog nog", as we called it, but I never really got her recipe after I grew up... Nowadays I just buy a quart of it from the store, and water it down at least 50% with some skim milk, since it's usually way too sweet and fattening just having it plain. I was thinking of making egg-nog pudding shots one year, so bought an egg-nog cream liquor, but after trying a shot just on it's own decided that it tasted terrible, so ended up making the pudding shots with regular egg-nog instead of milk and used some rum for the alcohol.

I am not much for eggnog, even the name is pretty much a turn-off to me. I like mulled cider for sipping during the holiday season. If I am going to just have something to sip on during the day then I will just stick with my coffee. GOTTA HAVE MY COFFEE!!!

I also love Eggnog.. around the Christmas holiday, i always go buy me some. There's nothing like drinking a glass of Eggnog around the holidays. :) ;D

I love eggnog! As soon as it is eggnog season I buy a ton of cartons and can polish them off in just a few days. This year though since I have worked so hard losing so much weight, I haven't even bought any. It definitely is not worth throwing away all my progress and I have zero self control when it is in the house! :-\

I've never tried eggnog. Maybe one day in the future I might try it but if I do it would have to be without the alcohol.

I don't like eggnog. I think it's really gross. The whole idea of it is just disgusting to me. It reminds me of vomit, and I just can't stomach the idea of drinking vomit. Lol

I personally do not like eggnog but my mom drinks it every year around the holidays. She also mixes alcohol with it. I do not know exactly what alcohol she uses but its different every time.
