Alright I said I would start a thread about pies. Here it is enjoy. I absolutly love Pecan Pies. Although they are soooooooooooooooo sweet. Can't get enough.

I can make a damn good pecan pie. My personal favorite is Key Lime, but no one else in my family likes it  :dontknow:

My all-time favorite is Pecan pie.  I love Lemon Meringue, Banana, and Custard pie too!

Pecan, apple and pumpkin are my favorites. Banana and Oatmeal, it's a first I've heard of them I'll have to look into it.  :)

I like lemon merenge, apricot,  raisin rhubarb, and blackberry. My dad prefers my raisin rhubarb, and my husband likes the blackberry. My favorite is the apricot.

personaly i prefer apple pie. its america's favorite and it just goes ya know? its best to have it hot with icecream on top- Pie A La Mode. but for the pole vote i picked Banana cause i love Bananas more than Pecan.

 :wave: Out of the 2 I picked pecan but homemade chocolate with meraigne (sp) is my favorite.. even though I can't spell it.  :) Theres not very many pies I don't like.

I may have missed that on on my list. I love Pumpkin pie and I have to have it every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Oh heck, I could eat it any time of the year!  :thumbsup: ;D

While I do love pecan pies, my all time favorite is apple. I can make a pretty good one too. Thought about opening up a pie shop once, but just don't have the funds or the time to do it.

My all time favorite was a pear pie. It used canned pears, a box of Jiffy white cake mix and pats of butter on the top. It went into the oven but I can't remember the temperature or for how long. I used to eat it as a kid way back in the last crntury.

I can't do pecan pie... I think it's just too sweet!  My husband loves it though!!!  I think my favorite is chocolate pie with a little bit of cool whip!!  I love that... ooooooh... or pumpkin pie!!!

    Pecan pies are delicious.  You can lower the sugar contents using splenda.

   Banana pie?   This is different to me.    I know about banana pudding.

I'm more of a cake person than a pie person (so sue me!) but I always look forward to thanksgiving for the pumpkin pie. One of my cousins made an oreo cookie pie once too and that was just about the best thing I've ever eaten. So what if I gained a few pounds, lol...
