Because they're children of close cousins (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis%2024:15/&version=KJV) ... although, are children-of-close-cousins really 'like that'? or is that just an 'urban legend'? (This article says (http://gizmodo.com/5905596/relax-its-totally-cool-to-get-with-your-cousin-says-author) cousin-mating is okay, but it doesn't mention retardation.)

But if it's not 'just an urban legend,' it shows that something supernatural truly is with the children of Isaac & cousin-Rebekah
