Title: Valentine's Day
Post by: reiddb on January 21, 2014, 11:20:49 am
So, what special plans do you have for Valentine's Day, especially because it's on a Fri. this year! =)  Our church hosts a Valentine's Day banquet for the couples.  This year we will be doing that!

We are not much for making Valentine's Day plans at our house.  Our church usually has a banquet, too, and we have been in the past.  Our idea of a great time these days, is eating a home cooked dinner by the fire in our fireplace, then watching our favorite television shows.  We always save our Valentine's presents and cards for each other until right before we go to bed, then we exchange them together.

I work in retail so I'll probably be at work all night watching the last minute shopper scrounge for any cheap gift they can find. Or the cheaters that buy two of each of everything and then proceed to brag about how they're gonna see one person tonight and the other tomorrow/  ::)

Nothing special over here, just another day. Although I'll probably use it as an excuse to eat more sweets.

Every year on Valentine's Day my husband makes lamb chops.  They are my favorite.  That is about the only tradition we have.

I will probably have a date with my DVR taking notes for my trivia contest that night (and every night for the next 3 months or so...).

Oh, and probably forgetting to wish my sister a Happy Birthday until I remember it again a couple weeks later.   ;)

I am going to be making a valentines day basket for my friend across the globe.. I like to make my own.. Feel's alot more personal and also comes from the heart! It's more better than buying one for 50-80 bucks with only 4 to 5 pieces of candy in them.. Although i really do like looking at the diffrent baskets because it always gives me new ideas as to how i might put mine together. Also going to try to do something exciting and special for my mom this year.. I'm going to get her a geridelle dark choclate heart with strawberry she loves that stuff a few other things that she might like and also going to be trying to find a 1888 silver dollar. It's special to her because that is the year her dad was born and he has been trying to find one for ages that won't cost her a fortune.. Probably going to also get my dogs some snacks for valentines day maybe a new one or two if i can find one.. Doesn't really have to be valentines day because it's only a one day thing ..and also a new pet sofa.. I think it's time for an upgrade on their old one.. Xp The church is going to be doing a barbeque.. Of course i don't really like bbq unless it's a burger with no bbq sauce. But who knows maybe i will get something from there.. Also might do some baking of some finger foods...and just INDULGE.  Not really much else.. If i had a lover maybe.. It would one kinky wild night ;) ahem! I do love valentines day though.. I love the decorations and the smiles you see that day it's just a beautiful atmosphere..  and i also  love getting a pair of fluffy handcuffs to add to my collection ^_^! WeWt it's a win win....  It's all about the love baby!
