Title: Is Jesus Showing Us How to Answer Questions?

The Pharisees try to catch Jesus saying something they can legally kill Him for, and He puts them in their place (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%2022:41-46/&version=KJV;NKJV;NASB;ESV;NLT).

And I think He needed to do that in order to verify that they were in 'the right place for them' and that He was in 'the right place for Him.' (Yes, I think that--when He said "This is what I was meant to do" (often mistranslated 'Forgive them, for they know not what they are doing')--He was actually 'discovering' it AT THAT TIME.)

How would you use Jesus' way-of-answering in your life today?

And don't tell me about 'the way He answers your prayers' or how He 'died to cover
 up your sins' ... He did, and that's wonderful; but it's not what I'm talking
 about---I'm talking about His answer to the Pharisees, the answer after
 which they asked Him no more questions  :neutral:

Jesus ALWAYS gave His father credit for the purpose why he came to earth as a man and teach many about Gods kingdom and give his life.

That's not what I'm asking; I'm asking if Jesus--in this instance--is being a good example of how one ought to answer questions?

I am not sure why you even begin to want to question Jesus?

I understand you want to start discussion etc.....but to question Gods son who is sinless?I can understand why you may ask why this and that,but i think i can show you many proverbs where it tells us NOT to lean on our own understanding and throw your burden on God.

Dont you know Jesus could read the Pharisees hearts?He understood why they asked him certain questions.Numerous times in New Testament.Depending how you view it or whos side you were on answers the question RE Jesus.

He also was a teacher with AUTHORITY!!He said he came to teach sinners the truth.Happy are those listening to him!
