A good morning breakfast, what adds you like?

I prefer steel cut oats, and I always add a little bit of brown sugar. :)

We do oat bran, with coconut oil, coconut sugar flex seed chi chi seeds, and dry fruit. Makes a great start to the day.

I like to add bananas or strawberries to my oatmeal. Sometimes I only add butter and sugar.

I like it, but I usually just eat the boxed kind. I've been bored with it lately, but when I feel like having it again, I want to make my own and be healthier. I would definitely lean towards adding brown sugar.

I eat oatmeal almost every morning.
I put brown sugar and flaxseed, usually some type of fruit, coconut oil and nuts to mine. It is so YUMMY! :in-love:

I definitely add some banana's...really starts the morning off on a good foot with oatmeal and bananas.

I never was a big oatmeal breakfast eater. When I do have it, I add raisins and brown sugar and milk. I really do like oatmeal cookies though.

I like to add brown sugar and raisins to mine. I love oatmeal. I think the one they serve at McDonald's is
not too bad.

I have never been a fan of Oatmeal. My mother-in-law lived with me and my husband for four years until she passed away. She loved oatmeal and ate it every morning for breakfast. I didn't realize there were numerous flavors of oatmeal until that time. It always smelled so good but I couldn't get pass the looks of it to indulge. Her favorite flavor of oatmeal was apple. :rose:

I love oatmeal. Maple and brown sugar is my favorite.

I sure do. I used to eat the instant flavored ones a lot but I don't like those so much now. I like the plain.

You are probably too young to remember this, but oatmeal was meant to fill you up. Your parents would cook it with sugar and butter. I was never a fan of oatmeal until I started eating the oatmeal that has flavors in it. My favorite is Peaches and Cream. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :rainbow:

The only way I eat oatmeal is in cookies!

Yes I like oatmeal a lot. I prefer to add brown sugar and raisins to it. It is one of my comfort foods.

You are probably too young to remember this, but oatmeal was meant to fill you up. Your parents would cook it with sugar and butter. I was never a fan of oatmeal until I started eating the oatmeal that has flavors in it. My favorite is Peaches and Cream. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :rainbow:
Peaches and Cream was my favorite when I was younger. I used to add tabasco sauce to my oatmeal.

I like oatmeal and was trying to eat it every day but I fell off the wagon lol so to speak because I got lazy and didn't feel like cooking it. I eat it with a little sugar and cinnamon and I like raisins cooked in it. Also like oatmeal cookies. YUM :silly:

I do like oatmeal with stevia and walnuts. So warm on the tummy, yum!

I used to like oatmeal until I started having gout and oatmeal was one of the foods I am not supposed to eat because it triggers it. Can you believe that? But I do like oatmeal a lot. Very healthy breakfast!

I'm not a big fan of oatmeal. I really have to be in the mood for it. When I do eat it I like maple and brown sugar.

I like oatmeal just about any way it is fixed. I will put fruit and nuts in mine sometimes. I prefer to eat it with alittle milk and sugar. The oatmeal bowls that McDonald's has is also pretty good. I also like cream of wheat; especially when it is really cold outside.

I like oatmeal. With lots of sugar, butter and sometimes brown sugar and cinnamon.

I like oatmeal with berries, flax, hemp seeds, maple syrup, pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg.I love it on a cold winter morning. :P

I didn't know it was oatmeal month I like any kind of flavor oatmeal like those from quaker instant

now that I think about it i love oatmeal but ive never eaten it as breakfast, its usually more like supper to me.

I prefer to make my own oatmeat. Brown sugar is great in it. I don't eat it as much as i used to in my younger days because have to fix a breakfast for hubb. I really like cooking with it. I make cookies with oatmeat, wheat bran, flour, peanut butter and honey. Then add a bunch of raisins and other dried fruit. My family really like them and i know everything is good for them.

I hate the look, smell and taste of plain oatmeal. Now if it's part of a cookie-hey I am there.

I tried making steel cut oats and it didn't turn out right...it was a little tough to eat. :(
There must be a trick to making it more palatable.
Otherwise, I like instant oatmeal (maple and brown sugar; apple and cinnamon, etc...) and I like regular oatmeal but I need brown sugar and butter added to it.

I'll eat oatmeal, but I prefer it as a granola bar or oatmeal cookie.

I love oatmeal; it's a great source of fiber and a healthy way to start the day. Sometimes I add Smart Balance which is a substitute for butter--no trans fats, brown sugar and nuts if I have some. I've also thrown dried cranberries in it, as well.

It's funny,but I hadn't eaten it since I was a kid,but since I tasted it a couple months ago,I've been eating it every day now!

I have oatmeal almost every morning during the week usually with blueberries in it. I do use instant oatmeal which isn't as good as make your own but hopefully still has some nutrients in it.

I don't like to eat hot oatmeal for breakfast, although I absolutely LOVE oatmeal chocolate chip cookies homemade hot right from the oven. YUMMY!

January is the perfect month for Oatmeal Month, especially for those of us who live in cold climate areas. I love oatmeal, my favorite is the apple cinnamon flavor. And did you know that you can use the original oatmeal (noninstant) and make it the same way you make instant, by just adding water to oatmeal in a bowl and pop it in the microwave. It turns out perfect and is not as expensive as instant oatmeal. :)

I haven't had oatmeal in a very long time, but when I did, I put almonds and raisins in mine. Sometimes walnuts.

yes i like oatmeal, but recently when i try to buy one and prepare it for a meal, i couldnt get the recipe right, in other words I like oatmeal but dont know how to make it

I love Oatmeal,,,, any kind but peach. i will put fresh fruit in mine also. But i have also learned to love grits !! Never thought I would like grits,,, but geee they are really good ,,,,,,,, ;)

I've had oatmeal for as long as I can remember. When I was young and living at home, my Dad used to mix chocolate powder or Nesquick or a little brown sugar to it to sweeten it up. Now I'm grown up i just love it plain with no sweeteners or fancy stuff. Now I just like to taste the oats. I have tried the store brands maple and syrup but is way too sweet and I can't taste the oatmeal.

Yes I like Oatmeal, I eat it for lunch or dinner sometimes, I rarely ever eat breakfast. I also like the flavored oatmeal and malt-o-meal and even grits, but the grits has to have butter and sugar. I use that in regular oatmeal as well just not as much. I need to state eating right anyways. I usually just eat one meal a day because that is all I can afford, but my triglycerides are out of this world and I have to adjust the way I eat, I get food stamps but that isn't enough when the doctors have your husband on one diet and and you on another.

I love oatmeal. When I want a special treat, I add brown sugar, cinnamon, pecans, sometimes a banana, and occasionally craisins.

I like to add fresh fruits to it especially blueberries and strawberries. Raisins taste good with it also. With a bit of brown sugar and cinnamon.

I love oatmeal. I like to make mine with milk and add a variety of fruits. Usually, I'll just add strawberries, blueberries, or a banana with brown sugar and cinnamon.

I've never liked oatmeal and I don't like cleaning up after oatmeal is made....but it is healthy so congrats to those who like it. Have a great day everyone.

I LOVE oatmeal- I love to add fruit to it too. Gives it a yummy taste!!!
