-
I work in a group home for 4 residents. My meals are provided since I cannot leave the premises.
-
I take my lunch we have a full kitchen at work.
-
I wasted so much money in the past eating out. Then I started to bring lunch to work. I still wanted to eat out so I would rotate between the two. Balance is the key. :)
-
When I am working I usually take it. Costs too much to buy it every day. And it's usually not all that healthy food choices if you buy it.
-
I mostly take my lunch with me, but I do occasionally buy lunch if all of my co workers are going out for lunch. I don't do that too often so I can save money.
-
My job is not a lunch break but I often have a healthy breakfast at home before going to work.
-
I always take a lunch because I only get a half a hour for lunch, plus I am to broke to go out to lunch everyday. That can be very expensive.
-
take it most days
-
WAY too much money involved to eat out every day. :o
Taking your lunch is more economical and you can control your portions better ;)
I eat out sometimes when I want to interact with a friend or coworker, but not on a regular basis. .
:fish:

I've always taken my lunch. It's cheaper and I don't like to work on a full stomach.

-

Only get a half a hour.

My New Year's Resolution is to not pay for a single lunch at work. I am on a five month project and have been able to go five weeks without buying a single lunch. I have been packing a big lunch of the previous night's leftovers along with a lot of little snacks and keeping these brought-to-work lunches under three dollars whereas I would normally be dropping five to seven dollars in the cafeteria for lunch and another three dollars and fifty cents for breakfast. I need to make as much money as possible over the next three years and spend as little. Staying away from the work cafeteria is just one of the many ways I plan on doing this.
-
I always brought from home because its to expensive to buy at work.
-
taking my lunch saves me mooola, but times I buy my lunch :present:
-
when i used to work i would always buy it
-
I'm at home all day so definitely eat at home. Going out for lunch is an occasional treat
-
Usually, I will take a lunch with me to work. However, there are times when I will go out for lunch with a friend or co-worker.
-
If im in the office = pack it. Out of town = if we buy groceries, then great, if not.. restaurants, ugh.
-
I use to buy my lunch but then I realized how much I could save every day by bringing my lunch so now I bring it all the time.
-
A few years ago, I used to eat out everyday for lunch.
Now I bring my lunch everyday. I often cook a big meal on Sunday and prepare my meals for the week.
-
In college I usually buy lunch when I have three courses that make me live in campus for a day... I use the break in between to get something or study... Nowadays in state college, I just wait out until dinner because of no breaks in between and also commuting...
-
I bring a lunch to school and to work. It adds up pretty quickly if I bought it every day.
-
90% of the time I took my lunch and if I didn't have anything good to make a lunch out of and I could scrape up the $ I would buy lunch but I am so glad I don't work anymore so I have lunch at home. It stinks being disabled but working stinks sometimes too so well anyway lol I eat lunch at home.

When I worked I always took lunch except when I forgot it then I bought it.
I pretty much live at work. I eat lunch and dinner at work on most days.
I try to cook but do occassionally order pizza.
-
I always make lunch for my kids to take to school unless there is something super duper on the menu. I always try to make a hot re-heatable lunch for my husband also. Usually I cook a meal for all of us the night before and I try to make enough that there is some for my hubby. I realise that, on the downside, that means he is getting two meals that are the same in a 24 hour period but the alternative is going out to get some which takes time out of his day and also means spending more money.
-
I live real close to work so I go home for lunch. I usually don't eat lunch, though. I do keep snacks in my desk for those hunger moments.
-
I always brought from home because its to expensive to buy at work.
Very true. I am so bad about planning lunches and get easily distracted by yummier food items at work.
-
I haven't worked for the past several years as I am currently taking care of my elderly parents. But when I did, I always took my lunch to work. I saved lots of money by doing that and nowadays it's even more expensive to eat out so I would still be taking my lunch to work today if I was working.
-
its so much so cheaper to bring your own!! plus I love the envious look on my coworkers face!
-
Eating out everyday for lunch is too expensive. Plus, I'm often so busy I have a hard time prying myself away from my desk. I eat maybe 1 to 3 times a week, but otherwise I generally try to bring something from home - usually leftover, a TV dinner or a substitute nutritional drink.
-
I bring my lunch. Not only is it cheaper, but the cafeteria is closed for second and third shifts, so I'd have to either go to pick up something, or get it delivered. Much easier just to bring my own lunch. Once in a great while my co-workers and I will order out, for a treat, usually pizza or something.
-
I am a college student but I barely eat out I usually eat at my apartment. I eat out maybe once every two weeks or something if I am hungry and have a long break and cant go home but thats about it
-
I usually pack something for lunch but I work near so many restaurants and sometimes I give in and buy something and eat my lunch for dinner. I wish I could break that habit because I'm spending unnecessary money.
-
Most days i bring my lunch. Today i bought my lunch. The prices have gone up alot . :(
-
I only buy lunch if I don't bring any lunch to work. Plus it saves me money bringing my own lunch to work. =)
-
First, let me say that I live in a town of just a little over 600 people. The only fast food here is Subway which is great but I live about 16 miles from town and my job (before I lost it) is about the same or a little more, so I would take my lunch when you live so far out in the rural area you don't have enough time to go to a cafe or Restaurant. My girlfriend always made me a lunch to take.
-
Usually I bring it, since that saves time and is cheaper......occasionally i forget or am in a huge rush
-
I always go to a fast food joint. I try to keep it cheap (coupons, dollar menu). It is worth it to me to get away from work for an hour.
-
Neither I eat lunch at home I have part time job plus the internet. So I am always home for lunch.
-
I take lunch at work always.
-
I live close enough to work that I go home for lunch, which I like so I don't have to make lunch beforehand or go out to eat all the time
-
I take my own. But I always ended up bringing them back home because I don't even get time to eat because of my job. Then sometimes I just come home and eat a very late lunch.
-
I need to save money, so I take my lunch.
-
I mostly go home for lunch..it's within walking distance to work. Sometimes I buy lunch if I'm meeting a friend or don't have feel like eating what's at home.
-
50/50.
-
Take it work lot cheaper than the cafe at the plant.
