I am irish and i dont celebrate.  i think people just use it as an excuse to get stupid and drink a ton of alcohol.  i would rather just stay inside my house and be safe and sound instead of having to deal with all the crazy drunks.

We have corn beef and cabbage sometimes. I rather like it - once a year. :P

We always celebrate, just because you are celebrating DOES NOT mean you are drinking and getting stupid.  We have the corned beef, cabbage, Irish butter, potatoes the works.  It is a fun holiday, no gifts, no pressure, just time to enjoy the family.  We all wear green and just have fun.

I like to wear green and put out a few decorations.  I'm not crazy about drinking, so I don't.  Just nice to see all the green that day.

Completely agree with the comment about shamrock shakes. I don't usually go to McDonald's very often, but shamrock shakes are definitely near the top of my list! And I may wear green when I go!!

I do periodically eat corn beef, cabbage, have some beer and make sure to wear green. But I think I might do this on days outside of St Patricks Day too.

I don't do very much for St.Patrick's Day.If I think about it,I might wear something green.I don't go out for St.Patrick's Day because I don't drink and there are too many people out on the roads that night who do.

All I've ever done was wear green. :clover: I eat corned beef regularly, though, and I'm not (legally) old enough to drink yet.

I do not know what to celebrate except to wear something at least green and pig out at some restaurant that serves corn beef brisket. Or might as well cook one yourself. The best way to cook corn beef brisket is to steam it.

No, I don't celebrate St. Patrick's day either.  It's just another day for me.  However, when I was a kid going to school I always made sure I wore green so I wouldn't get pinched.  :clover:

I used to celebrate it all the time before my best friend who was Irish moved. Now it has lost it's impact. I might do a corned beef and cabbage dinner.
