I'm surprised there's no topic about this!Can't say I've seen any of the movies that were up.I guess,I just watch to see the parade of hollywood beauties. :kiss: ;)

Ellen was alright.Most of her stuff was corny as heck,but I guess she was trying.

My favorite part was Bill Murrey sending a shout out for his buddy,the late great Harold Ramis. :(

It was a great show and Ellen did a tremendous job.  I liked the tributes, too, from Bill Murray (slyly), Bette Midler and Pink.  The selfie shot was fantastic!  Thanks for a great post JediJohnnie.

I was happy Cate Blanchett and Matthew Mcconaughey won. I would like to see both of the movies they

Oh crap, I missed it. I had a bad day yesterday and forgot to watch it. I will have to check out the highlights later.

It was...meh.  Personally I think half of Ellen's stuff could have been cut to finish on time. I will admit the selfie part was pretty cute.

I never watch the Oscars, I did see the young lady get the Oscars for 12 years of slave.  Did not see the movie, heard it was good and I need to adjust my color because she stated her dress was blue and it looked white on my TV and on the computer this morning it was blue. :)

I didn't watch, but saw a lot of Facebook posts about it....didn't really pay too much attention to the winners since I'm not familiar with a lot of the movies

My favorite was Bill Murray mentioning Harold Ramis, too. Only worthwhile moment of the night tbh.

I never really pay attention to the Oscars, I haven't seen most of the actors or the movies, so i dont' really care who wins.

i usually don't watch the  awards shows...  i really don't care unless its the country  music awards .   I had the oscars  on tv last night only because I love Ellen  LOL  she makes me laugh.  So I watched when she was on and listened when she was off  lol

I don't pay attention to the Oscars, it's all political who wins.  I don't care about the actors.  I haven't seen most of the movies.   I will watch Fashion Police when they critique all the outfits.  :)

If you life here in So Cal, you'd be the same, so over all of it.   :monkey:

Do not care about the Oscars anymore. I am happy 12 Years a Slave did get acknowledged. YaY! :) :) :) :) :)

I thought the Oscars were great.  I was not happy with some of their decisions but, this is a whole new generation of voters younger, etc.  I though Ellen was great.  She kept me interested otherwise it gets really boring.  Loved hearing Divine M singing.   That was a unexpected surprise. :thumbsup: :rose:
