I just like to sit outside in the early am, with a cup of coffee, listening to the birds and the town wake up. I really don't like being so uncomfortable that I spend the better part of the day in the house either warming up or cooling off. I love being able to open my house up enjouing a nice breeze.

I like warm. Warm to me is 60 to 80 degrees. That is just perfect! Island weather! When it gets over 85 degrees, it is just to uncomfortable. I don't like the muggies. I also do not like to be baked at 100 degrees!

Post by: missplaymate618 on March 18, 2014, 08:51:54 am: I use to love cold weather (and at times I still do), but getting older (will be 30 this year) and having arthritis it takes toll on the body, I'll take warm weather though 60-65 degrees just warm enough to take the crotch rocket out!

If I have to choose the type of weather I prefer it would be Cool. I don't like it when it is real cold nor when it is real hot. My favorite weather is just cool enough where you might have to wear a layer like a t-shirt and a long sleeve. When the air is cold enough to where the end of your nose tingles a little bit. I don't like bugs even though they seem to love me, so I must say that this is my idea of the perfect weather.

But I like the hot weather for my garden. So I guess I will take the good with the bad and enjoy the spring warm weather when I can. Just stay inside when the winds are blowing.

Cold weather, for instance, for the days when you want to curl up with a nice bowl of hot soup, or a warm cup of hot chocolate. Warm weather is nice too for walking along the sea wall in Vancouver, or just taking a walk along any one of the dozens of trails nearby!

Post by: ycollins on March 20, 2014, 06:31:44 am: I have lived in Iowa all my life. Weather always changes. But last fall I got a chance to invited my son on a military base in Hawaii. There weather there is way better, but great place visit, but could never afford to live there. :star:
