am I doing something wrong or is it just taking them time to post it I keep getting 1cent for each time I do it and I follow the directions very well where have I gone wrong

The tasks listed with earnings of "0.50 cents" are worth ½ of a cent, not 50 cents. You only get credit for them in groups of two or more so you are doing everything right, but you won't receive credit of one cent until you complete two of them.

Skippymcnapper-do they tell you when you earned the 1/2 cent. I think I must be doing something wrong too, because a lot of them just sit there or they say I forgot something. I go over it and over it and can't seem to find where I have forgot something.

the task that asks to verify the date in the opened link does not credit when you put in the right information it says wrong code entered. it is a 50 c task.

Do you mean that the task is still showing in your list once it says you did all the work? Even if you received credit, it will most likely show in your list until they have reached their quota.
You can check to see if you received credit in your FC account list or you can sign up for a Crowdflower account and watch their Dashboard too.

I was confused by this at first too. .50 is half a cent.... sad but true.
