??? Is fish classified as meat or something else?
-
Fish is classified as seafood and i believe in the pyramid it's considered as meat but I could be wrong.
-
Beats me. I like it though.

Is classified as seafood and for the people who does lend, cristians, catholcs, is the only type the can east, since it has no blood
-
it is considered meat because of it being living protein though there are some other things that are protein but are considered vegetables (penuts, walnuts, beans, ect...) and seafood is also brain food. :cat:
-
"something else" I know a lot of people who don't eat "meat" but have no problems with fish. It's not considered the same category.
-
Seafood isn't a food group. Fish are classified in the same food group as any other meat.
-
I love the seafood eating joke: I do the see-food diet lol
-
fish is not meat thus thats why it becomes popular during lent for people to eat

Worng fish is catalogued as meat except by Catholics because the original law written in Latin calls meat 'carne'. (because of fish having no warm blood) But in science its catalogued as meat in the food pyramid because of it being a living protein.

Yes it is a meat. It is the flesh of an animal. It is a white meat that has better nutrients than red meat. Everyone should eat fish once a week because of the vitamin content
