Title: Do you like brownies with walnuts in them?

Now you may think I was a bad mother, but when my children were young I use to shred zucchini and put in their brownies. Never knew any different. Ate then up. It was just another way of getting some more veggies in their food. Very seldom did they have reg. cake. It was always some apple, zuc. and other fruits or veggies cake. All are good. Less sugar and more goodies for them.

I've had a really scary experience in a family restaurant over a brownie. My best friend and I ordered one to split. I asked the waitress if there were nuts in it and she had to check with the cook who told her there wasn't. 1/2 through my 1/2 of the brownie I went into anphalaxys - - - a trip to the ER and a night of calling in to my job later I was able to breathe on my own again.

I am a real fan of the Ghiradelli Chocolate brownie mix as it is easy to make and comes out really chocolatey with centers that are nice and chewy. I have a special pan for them that mazimizes the number of edges in your brownies in case you are a real edge fan too.

Chocolate chips and/or peanut butter chips in the brownies (which makes them soo sweet that I get sickened by them even faster) are better though. Mostly, I think I'd rather have plain brownies but not too dry or too moist.
